KNIM got a bit boring towards the end but it was never as boring as Fuuka post-Fuuka death.
Fuuka getting hit by a truck was by far the peak of the manga.
Shame about every arc after that.

It seems Robot x Laserbeam was cancelled which is surprising really considering how well it sold it comparison to most of Jump'a new series despite fact it constantly ranked atrociously.
That one guy got so mad he left the forum when that happened.
Oh wow, so all of the ending flags last chapter were real. Sales for the series never grew (and actually started to decline a bit, at least from the charts we see) so I guess after long enough it was bound to happen (I'll imagine that HZ gets away with it since it's the best). I thought Viz just wasn't announcing a volume release for it like WNL and Dr. Stone since they were going to wait for Kuroko to finish, but I guess this is why. Bummer, so few sports series can get licensed here.
It's fate was sealed when DTL predicted it wouldn't hit 100 chapters.
Darn I wanted the US Open arc. And more RoboTomoya action they were the best.

The fact RxL got to last as long as it did was a travesty. Hopefully now Viz will do the right thing and put either Kimetsu no Yaiba or Haikyuu in their magazine.
It also got racist.
Might be too late for Haikyuu, but with the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime coming they should put it in. Provide a story summary like they did with MHA and HxH.
Saw some speculation viz might go for that jump star jujutsu but that series sucked so I hope not.
Might tune into next weeks viz podcast to hear that girl who pushed hard for rxl to be added lament it's death.

I had hoped they learned their lesson and only add series that are doing decently in Japan. Like RxL did for a bit.

I'd like to see them add the shogi series.(in the case haikyu and Kimetsu are off the table). Though there is no indication on how that has been doing so far. Of course just since one series is gone doesn't mean they'll be in a rush to replace it.
Haikyuu is a doubtful choice as its been adding the free chapters still to the free viz site. Kimetsu would seem odd to basically summarise the entire manga. If they were going to add either theyd have done so by now.

That cover page was definitely over the line and the fact it got passed is a weak moment for the editor and the author.
Surprisingly the character Dorian Green was handled pretty well and was a good match against robo.

I mean, the fact that a series surviving in jump is always at the expense of another due to how Jump's system works means that a bad series ending opens room for a good series to survive, so I can understand the attitude in this situation
I dont think RxL was bad, or that series that end are bad. I think RxL just couldnt find and capture a sizable golf loving audience/or appeal to people who werent already Fujimaki loyalists.
Exactly as Aaron describes it, RxL only survived as long as it did because of who was writing it. I'd much rather have seen some of the younger talent be given a chance to salvage a bad start over getting axed with 20 chapters.

Same. The iron 3 move of robo was a nice touch.
I thought it would have a longer stay given it didn't get cancelled pre timeskip.

After the time skip that felt "out of nowhere" I figured there was a chance of cancellation and the time skip was done to improve it's rankings, but I thought they'd at least finish the current tournament arc.
I'm not sure how to feel about It's Not My Fault That I'm Not Popular! when she's actually quite popular and way more normal than everyone around her. It's sort of a feel-good that she made friends, I suppose. It just doesn't match the premise anymore haha.
I have no problem with this story development because of her personality has been changed from introvert to being socialize with new friends a lot and i like it. Not to mention that she enters Yuri Harem arc, like a couple of chapters ago and it's worthy.

College age BL continue to have some of the cutests storylines. This has the scary looking awkward kouhai Tashiro who finally manages to take the first steps to getting a friend outside of his Manga club. Ebihara is afraid of him at first because of his scary face but warms up to him since they have similar likes in like Middle Age Suit Ojindam and other otaku interests and seems to just like him.
Really fun when they talk to each other but also most fun when Tashiro is showing him the Idol game he plays and says the reason he has the idol girl that looks like Ebihara is because he like Ebihara. Ebihara runs away. cute. lol.

I've said it on the discord, but WataMote managed to reach a good balance after the first school trip, but got a little too into the lesbian harem antics after the 2nd. It went from a introverted shitty girl maturing and becoming a better person to weird harem antics, which kinda sucks. But maybe I'm the only one that doesn't like that.

by the way i bought Bloom into You and the TL bolds and bold italics random words seemingly and it is really bad and throwing me off my game even if it's for emphasis or something because it's just... wrong. It feels wrong! I don't like it.
does it do that in the jpn version? I guess jpn manga does bold words too.

Wasn't expecting at chapters to drop at once lol. A joy to read as usual. Getting a lot of development to some side characters which is exciting. Ozeki standing up for the group was a good moment.
Biggest complaint is that I can't keep track of names since a lot of characters switch between their ring name and normal name lol. Added in with part 1 characters with different looks and a lot of cast sharing sumo body mold I do get a little lost at points.
Really threw me off when he changed his mind the second time and decided not to sandbag the unofficial match, good subversion of expectations. Last page is nice,

I feel like it's a western comic convention. I've not read the OG bloom into you so I can't comment on that, but I have seem comics do it and I've not been bothered by it, so I think this TL is just bad at it or has garbage typefaces or something.
