The timing on this is great.

Fortnite is the hottest game, and this bundle, which includes $40 Save The World, can be played, out of the box, for free without a PS+ subscription.

The exclusive skin is just sweetener. This bundle is going to sell extremely well.

Do yourself a favor and go to @Playstation on twitter and click the newest tweet. Almost every reply is about Fortnite and Crossplay still. Same with all the tweets since the Switch version came out.

I doubt we'll see an Xbone bundle anytime soon due to PUBG.

They have a marketing deal and the game isn't out yet

They will 100% have a RDR2 bundle as well as a FIFA bundle and COD bundle this year on top of the Spiderman one.

It's funny seeing it with a Free-to-Play game, but that's really not a bad bundle. Especially with the number of people getting pulled into this game just from exposure among friends, if those bonuses are actually a value-add with the pricing (and not just tacked on to the purchase price), that's a smart combo to market prominently.

I think there'll be some confused looks the first time someone who's played this online tries to play online games that require PS+ like a Call of Duty. That's one trade-off to the otherwise definite positive of not needing a subscription for F2P online games; the logic is a bit muddy.

I can't imagine they have enough mods to catch them all. It's insane. Hope it blows over soon. I've never actually played fortnite. Would like to try it but MP just takes up too much time for me and my backlog it HUGE!

I get the whole account locking out situation that one truly sucks and that should definitely be fixed. Crossplay is Sony Choice at this point, their policy and its just like Fortnite is not truly Free 2 play on Xbox. Isn't the full version of the game still $40? (I know it is suppoaed to go F2P eventually).

Conversely, their YouTube and Facebook comments sections on every video/post is almost entirely devoid of any of these crossplay/Epic account comments. It's dying down.
