Last we heard they were in talks with Gyllenhaal, him being actually confirmed to be in the film is new.
No, Sony/Marvel haven't officially revealed that yet. The trades basically said it's a done deal, but the only thing official appears to be the title and Peter going to Europe.
I was watching that Comic-con panel yesterday that had Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and Tom Holland on it and since it was hosted on Facebook I got a look at the comments and holy shit do girls love Sebastian Stan. I figured they did considering how handsome he is, but Id imagine there'd be more Holland comments than either of the other 2.
