Realm on Parade FF2 - 1/3 Minwu USB2. In an incredible and odd twist of fate over the last couple of month's I have somehow acquired a complete Rem (except her SSB), Minwu's BSB2/USB2, AND Arc's SSB1/2 & USB. The game apparently really wants me to use offensive white mages?

OSB Lucky - 2/11 Yuffie SSB & Kuja OSB, both dupes :(. On the plus side Kuja's is a native +Dark rod, and I have two other ones but they're much weaker/old so I'll keep my two of these separate and will actually get a bit of use. So still sucks but not a total wash at least.

Guy bsb, which is nice since I already have his USB, so an extra 10 atk always welcome

Minwu has two BSB and two USB. One each for healing and holy-offensive.

If you got the two Holy Offensive then you have a rare niche that could be a lot of fun! If you have got the two healing, then you're set for future FF2 d260 and Torments. If you got one of each then... oops?

2 is the realm I have the least relics in unfortunately.

The only other thing I have is his first SSB.

4/48 relics for FFII and I pull a fucking dupe. Firion OSB, at that. I shouldn't really complain since I've had great luck in this parade so far, but that's still pretty lame.

Was planning to skip the OSB LD anyway and this makes that choice easier at least, haha.

Sounds like a lot of fun waiting to be had. I have the Arc/Rem combo, and it IS fun, but I haven't perfected it yet. I'm not quite sure what the ceiling is for it, but right now Marche USB with Agrias and TGC still kill Hades faster. I'm not sure if I just haven't mastered the best way to utilize the two of them yet.

Ace OSB - new. Have his BSB, SSB, and LMR as well, just missing his USB now. Sadly his USB is his only source of enFire so he will continue to sit on the bench outside of CMs.

I didn't realize the Luckys were 24 hours only. Well that instantly saves me 25 mythril from the enElement I guess. I'll have to think hard on this USB relic pull. I'm sitting at 70 mythril.

If I already knew or read it somewhere, I don't remember. Are we getting some big 50 mythril gift or anything like we sometimes do? Like whack a mob for 30 mythril or get 10 mythril a day for 5 days, etc? I'm trying to figure out if the 70 I have is pretty much all I'm getting. In addition to whatever event pops up during the next couple of days and during the course of the fest.

Got Leon USB. Should I cave for OSB lucky?

I'm looking for ways to trim down my Hades time, aside from near-completion of Marche LD.

Does anybody here kill Hades so fast they single heal it with Rosa or Larsa, or they get by with Unicorn only? Not using an entruster to their healer either. I would have a lot more options if I wasn't married to Rosa/Larsa while still bringing in Unicorn. If I could increase my damage output so much so that I only needed Unicorn for one Black Cauldron, that would greatly open up my options. ShinUltima, while typing this, it occurred to me that perhaps I should study the damage output for skipping around the choreography of the boss phases? This of course made me think of you.

I'm solo healing Hades with OK (lol)

Admittedly having pUSB stacking QC helps.

edit: Meaning no AOE heal SB, Unicorn for both offhealing and astra.

Also admittedly this hinges on 1) doing enough DPS to take fewer hits, and 2) Edge blinkstand to both avoid the AOE interrupt and as a buffer.

Yes the pUSB is crazy. I've commented on it before recently, but I can't say it enough, once it's built up, it's Gathering Storm levels, possibly faster. Nearly insta-cast. Going by perception as usual, not raw number/calculations. So ya I have that, and I have Edge's toy. What else does Edge do? Initial RW cast and 1 Unicorn cast? At first glance, it seems a waste of potentional dps (or healing/utility) vs having Selphie USB or Penelo USB, but I've learned not to underestimate Edge, he's one of my favorites, and fully dove.

What is your DPS trio? Mine would be TGC/Agrias/Marche, but if I'm bringing Edge, then no mod-atk buff ..Seems like your setup could work for me if I can figure out the dps portion of things.


Edit: I guess TG Cid BSB and Marche USB have self-mod atk buffs. Just Agrias would be without, so there's that.

I had a surprisingly easy time with the Dissidia apoc+ boss or whatever it is now. I can see why it would be frustrating though because near the end they started interupt locking my only DPS while picking off people one by one. Thank God for instant cast, Aphmau USB saves the day. I used Faris' old Broadside SB along with dances, really useful for this fight. Funny how I find that old SB more valuable than her USB1.

I watched both your vids. I'm glad you didnt donate a keystone towards my cause. I'll have to work around with it a bit. I'm starting to reconsider stitch in time since I've seen it in a few videos and I guess it's best way to build gauge for Edge. Back when it first came out, crystals were rare, Ninjas weren't OP, and I didn't have Edge fully dove. Also the power of SSB2 wasn't here, or wasn't realized yet. Now a year later or so, things have changed. So ya, I may need to create that ability and take it to rank 2 or 3.

On your personal vid, I think you need more cow bell, or maybe another entruster. Also, I wonder if the devs see vids like this and other examples of mechanics doing things they originally didn't consider ... and well do they cheer at awesome creative uses or do they bang their head against walls with a feeling of "they're cheating!" or "why didn't we catch that before it went live!". Not sure. I know in a lot of MMOs, stuff like this would be found and then immediately patched out of game or new traps/triggers patched in to prevent said creativity.

Realistically they've been working around Cloud USB as early as three weeks after it came out - refactoring how many hits the 5* abilities do was a big step in equalizing the playing field.

A lot of torments also do auto-apply sap to get around last stand shenanigans.

I'm still debating if I want to do the osb lucky draw, overstrikes just don't get me excited anymore.

Friz, I'm all done farming midgardsormr, be prepared to laugh at my ineptness at Ixion. My worst element combined with my least favorite boss mechanic is not going to be fun. I'm going to use Edge to try and blink the dispels but this fight is going to take forever.

I think you've built it up in your head. I never found Ixion that difficult and I'm not the type to come here acting like everything is trivial. Remember to bring breaks if makes sense for you since he has lower break resist than any other magicite -- and/or a Super Vaan if have one. Not a sub-30 tool, but was in my initial clear. I initially ate the dispels and ignored any attempts of avoiding it. On my sub 30 runs I started ensuring that I blinked the very first dispel to keep the haste.

Edge is good for not only said initial dispel, or the now obvious ninja earth (not available back in January), but also as another source of Haste for later if/when the dispels do hit you. It worked out nicely with OK pUSB who was healing with Deuce. I now have Super Cinque, but my initial clear was basically Tifa and Vaan, so uh, basically Tifa BSB.

Lastly, not to be a Debbie-downer, but earlier today when I was FFRK'ing, when I wasn't considering alt-Hades sub 30 methods, I was building my 5* Magicite teams. You may have seen that Earth (Lightning) is first. Though, back on the positive side of things, that shouldn't get here until about mid-late August using the 5-month delay assumption. Maybe consider Banner 5 in Summer fest if not already, and one of the reddit threads suggested there is a good Earth banner in the fest have that.


All in all, I think you'll get it pretty quick, or at least quicker than you've let on.

Man, the game is crashing like crazy. But I finally managed to get in and pull on the USB LD:

1/11 - Kelgar USB

Quantity sucks, but one super good relic beats meh and useless SSBs! Fantastic USB itself and 6* earth boost sword! Super worth the 25 mythril!

Main screen > trying to collect the daily stuff > error > black screen of death.

The servers are getting HAMMERED.

I got into the LD pull but I'm now stuck w/ the yellow glow before the relics come out lol

It's really slow for me but managed to do a pull on FF1 RoP

1/3 Garland BSB2.

It's a dark boost sword and is similar to Squall's BSB2 so seems like a nice pull. Went to go upgrade it and an error occurred. Looks like i'll have to wait a bit for the Lucky Draw.

I'll just wait. It's nice to see so much hype for this game still though.

Greg's USB isn't that useful. I have had it since it's came out and I have maybe used it twice. However it's a fantastic piece of equipment. It gets lots of use as a stat stick from me.

Mine got in, then disconnected. Did get to read about the login bonuses though. Yay motes! Yay abilities!



Edit: Took like 3-4 relogs but finally slogged through all the disconnects. DDoS attack or something? Even disconnected during my pull, had to come back and check new equipment.

Garland LMR. Not a dupe, but I have nothing else for him, and the LMR itself isn't really that great. Not even +dark equipment. Ah well! More FF1 Equipment I suppose.

I'm stuck at the loading screen when launching the game. Checking reddit, a few users have the same issue. Its still loading lol. Others can get in. I gotten in, but then met with a black screen of death.

Did my lucky draw and it froze halfway though. Had to relaunch the app to see my results.
