Why would they need Profit when they already have SBB and CarpePine over Profit? Yeah okay. Good thing the coaches get to come in and help balance these rosters out.
Being as Seoul isn't even in the playoffs, you're not setting a high bar for those poor contenders teams lolKorea contenders is Korea tier 2.
NA contenders is Korea tier 1.
OWL is Korea tier SSS.
Korea contenders has better players than NA thoughKorea contenders is Korea tier 2.

Geguri or Muma are the best picks for this in my opinion.MVP has been talked about a lot, but I think it's worth putting attention towards another important award.

Uh, nice picks. XL2 has a team that could easily compete on the OWL
It's a representation thing, same with GeguriPeople seriously think Muma should be picked over Mickie?
Ughh, his personality irritates me beyond belief.
We're talking about the Dennis Hawelka award
Not really the point of the award
I got a lot of respect for Mickie after seeing a documentary about him here:It's Mickie
I am harsh on his play, but my respect for him as grown from watching interviews. The man is clearly the backbone of Envyus, and the team would have been in flames if it wasn't for him and Harryhook.
Mickie is 4 years older than Effect btw LUL
Lol @ "buying my jersey will bring you good aim and confidence"
Yup.Haven't checked this out since it launched. Is the OWL still 98% Asian and White males?
Also China released their full roster for the WC

Eileen is a sub because I guess China just like losing in Overwatch now
It's very telling how team China doesn't start anyone from Shanghai Dragons except for Sky.
We didn't plan to select any OWL members at first. They've been playing in US for so long and need time to recover from fatigue and pressure. We don't want to use their holidays and are keen to give more chances for players in China. We still pick Sky because Yuan Fang has retired, Shy has moved to other role, and Sky's hero pool is more balanced. Sky is also a very experienced player, having played in Seoul Cup, APAC, World Cup and OWL. He is familiar with Lin Chiqing and Leave, thus to provide clutch heals. We also need a player that can understand our strategy as fast as possible. Sky has no Contenders matches to play, unlike other players. So he will benefit us in forming a working team while we really have little time to train.
Ah, that explains a lot. It's nice for them to use the world cup as a chance to market other good Chinese players.
Apparently he said it on someone elses stream on Saturday and the person stop the stream and deleted the VOD, here is iRemiix's apology
cause the Chinese players were the worst on the team. their original lineup was questionable iirc, then they brought in a bunch of korean players for every position except support and guess what, shanghai had the worst support line in all of owl. The WC team could probably beat SHD, communication will be way improved. It's very telling how team China doesn't start anyone from Shanghai Dragons except for Sky.
