Burning One Man Force was a pretty good arc, through didn't really like what happened to Nami (more so how it happened).

Noriko Takao looks to be a good director and Nishigori is not. That's what I've learned from 22 episodes of Dahling.

MHA 50

Deku's mom's scene was very well done, can't wait to see it in the dub. Bakugo's mom is proof that Bakugo should have just been a girl.

FranXX 22

We're actually going to space with 2 episodes left in the series. Amazing... Glad Goro was actually given a part, he's been mostly a non character since episode 15.

Also what happened to the silver haired triplets with the masks? Did they die offscreen or something?

Can someone give me a recap of what happened in the previous two episodes of FranXX. I swear I zoned out during those lol.
This week's was interesting at least. And Goro got a really cool moment.

Darling in the FranXX 22

So we're going to space to save the main character's missing girlfriend. They really are planning to cover the second half of Gurren Lagann in just three episodes, huh. They even threw in a slightly Rossiu-esque confrontation with Gorou trying to convince Hiro that they should concentrate on building their new world instead of carrying on fighting.

Honestly, the struggle to survive in a world without APE is much more interesting than most of what preceded it and it would be nice if the series could have reached this point sooner so that this part of of the story could actually have room to breathe. But oh well.

I liked this week's MHA episode more than last week's. Great adaptation of good source material this time.

My Hero Academia 49-50

Fucking hell, that finishing blow. It was a fantastic end in the manga, and it certainly didn't disappoint here.

Now for the aftermath, which is great, especially the part with Deku's Mom, which was really needed after all of the crap that has been going on. And course Bakugo's mom lol.

The MC-wank in Darling is off the charts to the point it's really insufferable. Honestly couldn't stand him at all during that exchange with Goro.

So like something came to mind during this whole ritual nonsense was that in the second episode Hisone was refered to by commander as a fable miko since she knew Masotan's true name. I wonder if anything of it will be brought up in the last episode but I somewhat doubt it.

I know! It's disorienting when Violet visually looks around the same age as the rest of the recurring cast yet she's supposed to be considerably younger. It's a baffling design decision.

And then it makes you consider that Violet and Gilbert probably were of a similar age gap as the couple in episode five, and that Gilbert commanded her as a child soldier during the war as well. That one decision becomes much more poisonous to my opinion of that narrative in retrospect.

There's even a line in one of the letters where the prince states she reminds him of his own little sister for crying out loud! That's the point where this show reached peak anime status.

I can't not feel bad when the good guys are being framed as the bad guys and the bad guys as the good guys while the show makes it look like it's true.
Also we finally get to know what the Binden's part is, not that it wasn't obvious before that.

The argument between Midoriya's mother and son were on point and he won the debate over her because Midoriya just proved himself he didn't have to become everybody's hero in U.A; he can be anyone he likes.

Anzu is doing pretty good at her new home and trying to apply all she learned from her old friends. While Hitomi got wrapped up in something once again haha. And Hina's almost goodbye was pretty good until that last scene lol Nitta was foul for that one.

Wotakoi: 8-9

Hirotaka definitely has always seemed more worrisome about their progress and whether they're a good fit or not. It was a mix up but it's good that he had that little talk with Hanako and alleviated his concerns a bit.

FLCL Progressive: 1-2

This has been kinda so-so. The leads aren't that great yet tbh. Also think the first episode of Alternative was more enjoyable than this. Like the callbacks in the credits though and glance at what happened to Haruko.

GeGeGe no Kitaro 13
Wow... this is easily the worst scheme we've seen from Rat Man yet, and I'm really shocked the show didn't shy away from the implications of just how bad this whole situation could go if it was taken to its logical extreme. The plan is impressively simple, though crude in the way Rat Man's schemes often are. While still abhorrent in its standard form, the real disturbing stuff comes when globally-operating organized crime starts to take notice of Rat Man's work. I never really anticipate children's shows to really dive headfirst into some of the darkest subjects in modern society like mass murder and human trafficking, but GeGeGe no Kitaro proves to be relatively fearless in that regard, and handles is as well as it can within the restraints of what it can show its audience. That said, I do think Rat Man gets off too lightly even if things to work out the way I expected in the end, but that's just a reoccurring aspect of the show I'll have to learn to tolerate no matter what he gets himself involved in.

Oh my god, I just found out there's a Muhyo & Rouji series happening! That series had the best monster/ghost designs.

Is it known whether it's continuous or just a 13 ep order?

Their attempt at old style anime is... sort of halfway there. It looks good except for the part where it makes some of the background art look blurry.

You know, I like the story so far even if there is no way I can buy that the protagonist does not have brain damage at this point.
