I really hope they force a sale to the buyer. There's been whispers about someone for a minute, but not a stadium plan. Fingers crossed.

A Cinn/Cbus rivalry would likely be an instant classic if they let it happen.

There's been plenty of whispers here in Ohio about a buyer (but we don't know who, other than apparently not Les Wexner; the list of other names is long) but there's also been firm whispers that there is a stadium plan, and there is land for it as part of a sale to new ownership. And there's whispers that there are two groups looking to purchase.

Detroit City FC put up a good match tonight but came up with a draw. 1-1 before stoppage and then a goal taken back due to offsides

It's been a rough season for sure. Seems criminal to tie when we only blinked at 1:30 into the match.
Also, we now need to win everything in front of us and we need GR to lose their remaining match not against us (I don't recall who else they're playing) if we want to make the playoffs. :/

Gordon missed a sitter in stoppage time.

This is the upsidedown.

Then he does that to Frei?

Really hope Frei is okay.
Alan Gordon, fucking Gordo, missed a sitter in stoppage?

So when does the asteroid hit the planet and kill us all? How much time do I have left exactly?

Now I have to hope and pray that no one gets injured in this game like Garza did last year

I'm not a fan of voting in so many Atlanta players for that specific reason

In either case, I'll be there in person to watch the game.

U.S. Soccer President Carlos Cordeiro: 'There's no timeline' on hiring new coach
"I'd like it sooner rather than later, but there's no timeline. There's no pressure on it," U.S. Soccer Federation President Carlos Cordeiro told The Washington Post over the weekend. "There's no expectation that it has to be done by any day because you want the best possible person. We've waited long enough since last October; I don't think a month or two — or even three — matters."

In a wide-ranging interview that included discussion about North America's victorious bid two weeks ago to host the 2026 World Cup, Cordeiro said Earnie Stewart, the newly hired general manager, has begun the vetting process in identifying candidates.

"He has a list," said Cordeiro, who was elected president in February. "I wouldn't call it a shortlist, but he has a list. He definitely is pulling things together," even though Stewart will not formally leave his executive post with MLS's Philadelphia Union until the end of July.

The domestic candidates are pretty well known at this point. I'm more curious who they'll go after from the international pool.
