Just picked up the complete edition and am excited to play. Any tips a beginner should that will make my experience more enjoyable? Please no spoilers, thank you!
Yes. This will heavily annoy you if you don't. Having to constantly salvage/trash stuff to pick up resources you need is probably the only thing I disliked about the game.
Just enjoy the fantastic combat against the machines, the great story and the beautiful world :)Just picked up the complete edition and am excited to play. Any tips a beginner should that will make my experience more enjoyable? Please no spoilers, thank you!
I love Witcher 3 massively and I still tell you to sod off.
Also this. The DLC is much better if treated as post-game or late-game content.I really recommend not going to the DLC too soon. I got there as soon as I reached level 30 and maxed there. The main game was way too easy afterwards...
Removing the mini-map and waypoint markers especially makes the game so much better. I only referenced the main map when I got lost.Customize your HUD as soon as you're able. Makes it much more immersive.
I also found it a lot more immersive to not use fast travel.
Not if you want a good combat.
Do not bother collecting all of the stupid artifacts. The rewards are garbage.

The only thing really worth collecting are the power cells.Do not bother collecting all of the stupid artifacts. The rewards are garbage.
Enjoy the bow combat because that's all you need to use to beat the game.
IMO, it is not. Well, may be it was on launch, but they now support stacking of much more resources. I never had an issue with it when I played it platinumed it few months ago.
