The art direction has never been better. Even the better textured Arathi Highlands is amazing. Makes me want a whole world revamp.

Using Group Finder for World Quests got a UI change and add-ons can't interact with the Group Finder other than searches.

Come on, mod makers, you found a way around it the last two times Blizz tried to shut down auto-queuing mods.
The Mage Tower challenge now appears to be permanently active, as Blizzard said it would be a month or so ago.
Can't you already sell those for gold to any vendor on current live already?

Before Blizzard borrowed the design for Group Finder, it was an add-on that used custom chat channels to coordinate and build groups.
So, to be clear, during prepatch, will both Alliance and Horde participate in quests lines for both the burning of Teldrassil AND Recapturing Lordaeron, or is one scenario for Alliance only, and the other for Horde only?
On beta, both factions do Battle for Lordaeron right now. It's mandatory to enter the BfA zones. Teldrassil wasn't in yet last time I played. Maybe that will be the pre-patch content?
Yep. You'll also want to bang out the artifact retirement questline because it unlocks all the traits for your artifact (despite the name, it doesn't get rid of your artifact). Also, if your gear score is 910 or higher, you should look up a guide and try to knock out the Mage Tower challenges for your artifact. There's also some mounts that will disappear or become harder to obtain once BFA drops, but honestly unless you're already Antorus geared (950+) I wouldn't bother.

Oh boy, time for 8.1 spoilers!
- Xal'atath, Blade of the Black Empire is back!
- New scenario involving the Lich King, Vol'jin, and Bwonsamdi
- Paired with that, there are three new models for the scourge. There's definitely something going on with the LK.
- New smaller models like capybaras
- New weapons for the darkshore warfront, introducing warglaives for both blood elves and night elves based on their actual race
- New tree of life form for each race
- Tyrande is a fighter again, new model included
Also, Tyrande's new black face paint and eyes are available to Night Elf players after completing the scenario.
Let's go for the big models, though.

It was moreso work, allied race grinding for months (that I still have yet to complete) and trying to finish both faction stories all at the same time with Destiny 2 on top of that but yeah i shouldn't have pushed so far on all that at once.
But now i feel so left behind. Hope it isnt too hard to get everything done and catch up quickly.

While the Lich King complaining about balance (considering the DK class hall actions in Legion) is somewhat humorous....
If the LK didn't do it, and Eyir (or presumably Helya?) didn't do it....there's some OTHER new faction that told Vol'jin to make Sylvanas Warchief? And that faction isn't confirmed on whether or not it's the same 'heroic' presence that brought Vol'jin's spirit back?
.....the odds of Sylvanas not going Garrosh 2.0 just got worse.
This also seems almost 'incredibly' leading-by-the-nose in how this quest basically goes meta-textual on player questions/concerns, while simultaneously not answering anything at all.

Also apparently Saurfang has assassins coming after him......I'd like to say it won't end up being Sylvanas, but I'm not holding my breath.
(Barring, ofc, that all the quest details are a ruse - but people said the same thing about who burned the tree)

Its going to be either the new death loa or whatever or Old Gods that did it. But I find it funny that the questline basically amounts to:
"Why is Sylvanas Warchief?"

Tyrande getting a demigod powerup in place of actual characterization would be par for the course for Blizzard. Curious what being the "Night Warrior" — and how it relates to other Night Elves, being a new customization option — means.
If it magically transforms the race from the red shirt-wearing purple hippies of WoW into the savage amazons whom Grom respected... well, I'll take it. Ancients getting new models could bode well for their, y'know, existing as well.
Still puzzled why the Forsaken are the Horde force in Darkshore, while the Orcs are the force in Arathi. Makes zero logistical sense. Did Sylvanas, Nathanos, and the Forsaken army go from Darkshore to Undercity (to Zandalar) to Darkshore? lol.

They've stated several times they aren't doing Garrosh 2.0, Horde players will riot if they do. They have lost all their original Faction leaders at this point, versus Alliance losing one.
Blizzard is expanding on their lore out of necessity. Shadowlands and the Nature/light equivalent will be the next dimension(?) we have to fight for/in. The void being terrified of Sylvanas is notable. Someone at Blizzard seems to be a fan of Pillars of Eternity, setting up an "entropic death" aspect.
It certainly viewed her as a big threat in the Three Sisters comic, via its whisperings to Alleria.
I would say it's therefore unlikely that the Old Gods are involved with Vol'jin's decision of making Sylvanas the Warchief. Who was whispering to him, I guess, is going to be presented as some big mystery. lol
In an 8.1 questline, Tyrande undergoes some ritual to become the Night Warrior — a martial aspect of Elune.
I mean...Blizz did give spirit Vol'jin amnesia so he is just as 'confused' as all the players, so I'd say that's a pretty safe bet, lol.
But it being Bonsawmdi's boss (speculated to be Mueh'zala), and/or Helya, is probably a safe-ish bet
