The Diamondbacks are also heavily rumored to be at the top of the bidding war for Machado. It seems to me like this is exactly the type of information you want out in the media to get both sides to start trying to 1up each other. This is a very interesting scenario because both teams absolutely do not want the other one to land Machado, they would rather him go to another division altogether if they cant get him.

I wish we could play every game against the Angels. The Red Sox become the 1927 Yankees up and down the line-up when playing against them.

Dodgers aren't going to give up their best prospects to grab him. Machado is not going to be wearing Dodger blue this season.

It makes no sense. You have someone in NY who should already be watching the game. At most, a manager asks about it and you should have that asshole in NY text the scoreboard.

It takes 3 minutes or so to watch an unp with outdated headphones.

But, no. We need 7 inning games and 18 game seasons.

And with this win, the Red Sox have reclaimed what is rightfully theirs from the thugs beneath them. We have sole possession of first place in the AL East and first place in the entire league.

Also, JD distances himself from Trout with his 25th homer, the most by any Red Sox player ever through the end of June.

And it's not even the end of June yet.

But JD was a bad investment.

The top NL teams dropped off a cliff, meanwhile. The Marlins more respectable than the Royals and Orioles! And the Mariners makes 4 AL teams with 50 wins, none in the NL. Granted, the AL Central is historically awful.

Also, most NL teams are now breakeven or worse in interleague play, with the Pirates being the major exception. Given that is being propped up by a historically bad AL Central, this year's World Series favorite is almost certainly going to be from the AL unless some dramatic trades or changes in momentum occur.
