Didn't we already know this? I thought it was well established that the playable inklings were 14 in Splatoon 1 and 16 in Splatoon 2. Good to hear they're watching the community, now they just need to listen and give us dedicated servers and a better tickrate
Pearl was electrocuted as a kid which stunted her growth, I believe it was stated in the artbook for Splatoon 2 that hasn't made it past Japan yet

I've seen the replies to their JP twitter account and its a pretty big lie that they're listening because i've seen accounts post weaponsets from datamining leaks week after week after week until they eventually got added. I don't really think they're actually operating on player feedback so much as they're following pre planned self informed lists.
Or looking at the data objectively when they made small changes to Baller and Inkjet and Splashdown but havent listened to the continuing salt about them.

Games that have sexualised depictions of minors, mostly. Since the characters in Splatoon are not sexualised in game, it's not really relevant here.
It's common to forget to precise which society we are part from when posting about societal norms even though they vary accross the world.

More places in the U.S. have the age of consent at 16 than at 18. Not like it was a detriment to what people did before or now.
