Then you play the Pro Publica recording of the children crying until they get up and leave or one of the Secret Service people try to threaten you.

Her life should be as uncomfortable as possible while she backs this regime (calling it an administration means it's legitimate).

That's a good idea.

This is probably being done to display her as more of a victim, rather than what she is: a piece of shit who was politely asked to leave because she's a piece of shit. But oh, they do love playing the victim as they kill people.

Thank God, after Sarah's butt clenching ordeal at the Red Hen I was frightened for her safety. Is there a way to contribute more than my share of taxes for this noble and important cause?

From what I remember, establishments have the right to select their patronage.

Of course, somebody like her would never imagine that an establishment would refuse to cater to her.

Something-somenthing accustomed to privilege, something-somenthing equality seems oppression....

Great, so the protests accomplished nothing but cost the tax payers more money to protect this person?

Amazing job all around DSA, real solid work.

Above is a beautiful example of this administration getting people to shift outrage away from itself and on to progressive movements.

And it'll have effect. It will crack her. She may keep lying with impunity, work to gaslight the public in defense of a treasonous, white-supremacist head of state, but she'll be breaking inside.

Michelle Wolf made an indirect comment about her "smoky eye" make-up, and Huckabee Sanders completely switched up her face paint. She used to have a professional make up artists spackle her face with kohl and contour every day. I don't know if the make up artist is still under White House employ, but they've turned down the application - going from "Kylie Jenner" down to "nun who sneaks on some lipstick on the weekends."

She's a coward and a wuss.

Welp, better safe than sorry especially after the call to harass government officials

Eh I don't think this should be criticized. We don't know all the info, she could very well have been the target of credible threats. In the long run, the money spent on this is a drop in the bucket of the waste Trump wants to spend. Let the SS do their job and focus on the horrible stuff she defends and the constant lies she tells.

Sarah appreciates your concern, and I empathize with your inability to multitask. However, not everyone is afflicted with your grave medical condition so it is possible to criticize someone on mutiple fronts.

I wonder if she's received specific threats that they're concerned about.

Not sure why there's so many 'snow flake' posts in here when the article linked makes no mention of the cause for this move.

I know everyone here has a hate boner for her right now but god knows how many death threats have been made against her. Especially after the last couple days. Are you guys just pretending to be willfully ignorant or do you all genuinely believe that this is in response to her not being served food?

This is a total non-story. White House officials semi-regularly get temporary Secret Service protection depending on the level of threats directed at them and the specifics of their current duties. There have no doubt been tons of threats sent her way, the idea that this is about her being asked to leave the restaurant and not the response to it is absurd.

I felt like I'd misread the article based off some of the posts in here.

She is the press secretary...her job is supposedly to be the public face. Not that she had any credibility anyway.

Makes sense to me. Literally any body on the street could have a gun

So then shouldn't we all get security details then? I mean literally anybody on the street is a better public service than she is.

I have temporarily rebranded my Twitter account as a separate Red Hen restaurant that has gone a step further and refuses to serve Trump supporters and veterans and the address is an ICE office. So far I've only riled up a couple Republicans but I'm working on it. Wish me luck.

Eh, learn what being scared feels like. For most sane people, I'm sure the force-field of grossness you carry around will do the trick.

Dyle's disingenuous post only makes sense in a vacuum. The fact remains that she's antagonizing people by enabling the violation of human rights of thousands of people, ripping apart families, misleading the public, etc. To paint her under the same brush as a politician who is under threat because of a genuine difference of opinion is gross. Do you know what else she can do to not have to worry about needing protection? Not being a vile person who knights for the American Nazis, calls liberals snowflakes, and attacks reporters for holding her regime accountable.

Uh, no. I'm not saying that SHS isn't a horrible person and I'm not saying that she doesn't deserve more than her fair share of criticism and public shame for her actions. She deserves everything she gets and I hope that she struggles to sleep at night knowing the damage she's inflicting daily to this country. My point is just that a government official receiving extra security after a controversial event where they no doubt were overloaded with threats of violence should surprise no one. It's par for the course, it's literally the Secret Service's main job, and shouldn't be newsworthy or controversial. If the conversation was about how the Trump admin has caused the Secret Service to be stretched thin with how many people are under their purview, or their serious problems with the use of overtime pay, or their recent increases in budget, or the many other problems with the agency, then there'd be a discussion worth having. But this is on the level of bitch eating crackers

How does your post refute anything stated?

Do you or do you not believe that senior officials/employees are warranted protection if there is a fear for her safety?

I didn't say it wasn't warranted. I'm saying it's hypocrititcal and due to her own actions. Dyle's misinformed statement, painting her need to use security as something that's normal is ignorant of the contexts and current events.

The best popular governments are those so reviled that they need armed escorts to force businesses to serve them.

Regardless of the stupid even shit she does and says, I'm surprised she doesn't already have it considering there's a huge target on her back. The public can be absolutely crazy sometimes, and as justified as their anger is, the public often relying on violence when it comes to these kinds of issues would scare me shitless.

So from what I understand

  1. Gets denied service at a restaurant
  2. Names the restaurant using her official White House Twitter Account to rile people up
  3. Everything containing the words "Red Hen" are bombarded through social media by people outraged that they denied her service
  4. Now gets secret service protection

Just smh. Does she think Red Hen is going to come after her or something?
