Now it's getting weird? This game has always been off the wall bonkers.
I've been saying from the start that I'd love a hero who can turn into a ball and move around like Samus from Metroid. I can't believe this looks like it will actually do it!
So you will roll around in a giant tank orb and then you can transform into different weapons and stuff?

Everyone thought Hammond was going to be a Chimpanzee but surprise it's actually a Hamster
I feel like we've got too many Talon members lately; Sombra, Moira, Doomfist, etc. I want more independent characters. It's why I'm still wanting a new Junkertown character.

Who says Hammond is a chimpanzee? That was all fan speculation, there never was any specific evidence stating Hammond would be one, all we knew was that there was smaller test subjects on Horizon and that Hammond was one of them. :P
In fact, Hammond's room in the updated Horizon has bananas and carrots, which are, in fact, popular treats for hamsters. Not just chimps.
I'm gonna say this hamster is Hammond. It even makes sense HAMster and HAMmond.

That's what I thought, in which case Blizzard are adding a Top Gear reference to Overwatch.

The name Hammond was a cheeky fake-out on their end because the name Hammond appeared to be a portmanteu of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ham_(chimpanzee) and "Mond", the German word for moon.
Oh my god now I'm going to be disappointed if this doesn't happen now.
