I thought the laws were different for using a president's likeness in merchandise. Did he actually sell his likeness here?
I'm not sure how they got the rights to use his likeness but Barry isn't President anymore.
I don't think it matters, but after a brief scan of google it doesn't seem totally legal it's just that presidents/ex-presidents choose to not go after anybody.
