People questioning him to the point where its almost victim blaming or doubt for the sexual assault. Terry Crew is fucking awesome for speaking out.
I laughed at the part they ask why didn't you beat him up?

"Why didn't you beat him up?"

A bunch of kids asked this question. It's not like he was accosted in an alley. You can't just swing on a dude at a Hollywood party and think everyone's going to be on your side. The ability to inflict violence solves so very little. :P

I like Crews a lot, his story of success is brilliant. To my knowledge he was in the NFL, then lost his money and became like a janitor? Found himself and carved a path into acting. True grit!

It INFURIATES me that there are a lot of redpill/MRA types calling him a "pussy" (of course, no one actually believed they fought against men's hardships) and one lane liberals that are saying "oh he's not a woman, so it's different" (like why the FUCK would that matter after the fact???)
I mean, MRAs don't give a fuck about helping men because they've got a zero sum world view and think they have to degrade women (and occasionally other men) in order to succeed. Like, I'd completely ignore MRAs as a waste of time if they didn't keep getting elected.

I hope this ends well for Terry Crews.

Somewhere in there he also learned how to be an artist:

Terry is too good for this world!

He also beat porn addiction. I mean he was beating off to it so much, but then he actually beat the addiction itself.

Disgusting he's had to have the amount of hassle that he has over coming forward with this, let alone what he has had to go through in going through the event itself. Keep fighting Terry, you're such an inspirational person.

Of course I don't know Terry Crews personally or anything, but what I've seen from him has been very positive and inspiring to say the least. I love what he does. Haters can will always try to knock people out regardless!

User Banned (Permanent): Victim blaming in reference to sexual assault + reinforcing toxic masculinity constructs
I'm not familiar with his assault, but is there an answer to "Why didn't you beat him up?"

I'm not familiar with his assault, but is there an answer to "Why didn't you beat him up?"

"Senator, as a black man in America, you only have a few shots at success. You only have a few chances to make yourself a viable member of the community," he said, becoming visibly emotional. "I'm from Flint, Michigan. I have seen many, many young black men who were provoked into violence, and they were in prison, or they were killed. And they're not here."

"My wife for years prepared me," Crews told Feinstein. "She said, 'If you ever get goaded, if you ever get prodded, if you ever have anyone try to push you into any kind of situation, don't do it. Don't be violent.' She trained me. I'll be honest with you. It was the strength of my wife who trained me and told me, 'If this situation happens, let's leave.' And the training worked. Because I did not go into my first reaction. I grabbed her hand, and we left."

Terry Crews represents the best of America and humanity. So much to learn about grace from a man who is idealized as super masculine on tv. He should run for US Senator and even President.

Black children are shot to death all the time for nothing at all by the police and you think a big jacked black guy knocking out a white dude is a safe bet?

Terry Crews isn't going to have the police shoot him at an upscale hollywood party for decking an agent. A better reason for not punching him is he's a thinking adult and thinking adults don't do stupid shit like that unless they have to for self defense purposes. Not to mention, when you're famous and wealthy it opens you up to lawsuits and can damage your career.

What the fuck man. And we have YouTubers actually claiming te let the Assault happen for minutes and not doing anything against it and therefore doesn't deserve the sympathy. Because if they were in his shoes they would have gone to jail for attacking the assaulting person or at least telling him off or push him away.

But these tweets make it clear that's not true at all.

Later today I will watch this testimony, so before I can get into these discussion I'll know more about it.

Stay strong Terry, you were violated and you did great to stand up to your attacker. No one can tell you any different.

Fuck those questioning him.

We don't deserve Terry Crews. We really don't.

But Terry Crews deserves better than us, too.

I cannot believe that there are some out there calling him a leech for this. That's he trying to downplay #MeToo.

Terry Crews is a treasure. The fact that he's going through this crap makes me furious.

It's so sad that he has to put up with this, Terry seems like such a nice dude. He's what a real men's rights activist should be. Like here standing up to the men who abused him and the structure that reinforces toxic masculinity like this.

Indeed. I saw a video last week of him on a chat show, surrounded by women (the audience) who were quite tightly packed in and he's openly taking about how he used to be a jerk, thinking he was more than his wife and women because he was a man etc, toxic masulinity etc.

I don't know what he used to be like, but post porn/nearly losing his wife Terry is god damned awesome.

He also came from a home where his mother suffered domestic abuse at the hands of his father. He really is someone to look up to based on how he was able to overcome adversity
