Egg, I'd recommend adopting best practices after clearing out your existing backlog. My best practice- I never store any screenshots on the PS4 HDD after I have transferred them over to my computer after which they only remain in cloud. Personally, I find clearing the backlog is the biggest cause of the tedium. However, as someone who is obsessed about taking pictures, it is the only way to not clog up the PS4 HDD.

Kind of a shame a lot of these pro and X shots are 1080p. Isnt there a way to have the in thread pic be 1080p but if u open the image in new tab its in its full res?

I wonder does it depend on whether the screenshot is captured playing on a 1080p or 4K set. I know with myself, I'm still rocking a 1080p TV.

I used to post 4K shots from Pro and X but due to cloud storage limitations, extension of writing time to disk while taking the shot and bandwidth constraints from some, I switched to 1080p on Pro. X still captures at 4K but I downsize them on PC.

Unless you have a 4K Monitor or are opening the screenshots on your 4K TV I see no advantage of them being 4K.
I always capture all my screens in 4K and then downscale them all automatically using a python programm. This way I still have the original full 4K shots on my Pro in case I want to set them as my background etc. and don't need to scale each one down manually.
