A week ago he blamed Anita Sarkeesian and others like her, (people who talk about issues that exist in society and media), for Charlottesville, while at the same time arguing that we should've waited ten-twenty years to push for gay marriage. You could put a picture of Boogie next to this quote and it'd be accurate:
Twitch and YouTube keep placing mouth pieces about how they're all about diversity and inclusivity and how they want to celebrate pride month with their LGBT+ content creators, and then you have Twitch chat and streamers be consistently homo- and transphobic pieces of shit, and you have YouTube demonetize any video that has "gay" in its title and plant ads from an anti-gay religious extremist group to roll on LGBT+ content.

A loss for what? People are just saying if he was really apologetic he'd say something more like:
"I realized that my toxicity and gay slurs are not the type of person I want to be. I want to apologize for all the hurtful things I've said in the past and how they've hurt other people. I promise to do better. I don't ask for your forgiveness but I hope at least for understanding that I can change as a person."
This isn't a zero sum game, people want accountability from someone who has hundreds of thousands of people following every little thing he does.

Yeah it's deeply messed up that these people who have so much influence on kids can act like assholes with impunity because it's "entertaining," and in doing so pass on their shitty attitudes and habits to their impressionable audience.
Streamers and Youtubers with millions of subscribers have the power to fundamentally change culture through their influence on the younger generations, and look how they're using it: to spread bigotry and glamorize acting like a dick.
It's no wonder empathy and decency seem to be on the decline while unearned arrogance, narcissism, and intolerance are on the rise. The popularity of this type of entertainment, combined with social media, are probably creating social and political consequences we may not fully understand for decades.

I dont really think Boogie is really on the "both sides" fence. He clearly sympathizes with GG ideas, but is too much of a coward to go full into that, so he just says "maybe they have a point!"

Neither is compromising and going the whole 'both sides' while minorities and LGBTQ members waiting decades for the conservatives to be a little reasonable and allow basic equality rights.
