Hoping for a Denmark win so that our team can actually play some football in the quarter-finals against an opponent of similar skill. With Croatia it'll just be Spain all over again, Cherchesov will surely instruct them to turtle up and hope for a lucky counter/penalties.
I do have a job but are you comparing managing a country in a World Cup, or a major job in football in general (as a player or manager) to a regular job? lol. If anything, this case in particular, is comparable to a high level management job where you can't just go behind and sign for another company while still being expected to lead your team appropriately during a crucial phase. You can't, period.
Lopetegui was given the chance and honor to manage his home country during a world cup and betrayed the RFEF hard. You think the RFEF should just open wide for him and allow him to do his job during the World Cup instead of immediately terminating his contract. It's your opinion, and we can move on it, because I will never agree and I doubt that in comparable situations any given major FA wouldn't do the same as the Spanish one did.
