Both keepers saved 3 penalties each in a single game, poor penalties or not that is incredible. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Sure players miss penalties but for the keepers to save that much is new to me.

People here are like "those were shit penalty shots" like what is a good penalty shot? It's either on target or it's not and if it's on target but not a score then it's a save.
People make it seem like a fast shot to the top corner is the only way to take a good penalty shot when a ground shot or near ground shot is just as good if not more accurate and less risky. And I say this as a player who always used to miss penalties by trying to shoot high and inaccurately (I'd often end up shooting close to the middle instead of corners because of my sole focus on power and height) as such had to take specific lessons for it where I was told to focus on accuracy more than power or height.
Hitting high, hard and in corner is literally the riskiest shot you can take for a penalty and pressure just gets to you at that point. It requires an immense amount of confidence to go for that, something that even these pro players can lack when under that kind of pressure...unless you are players like Zidane or Ronaldo and so on and even then you can miss for example...Roberto Baggio.

Players should hit penalties high. High means it doesn't even need to hit the corner.

I was so happy he signed with FCB.Then he beasted for a year with us at Barça and won a treble... he's fallen of a bit since then but that's more due to coaching and how Barça isn't the best fit for his skill set.
