as PC player, playing PS4 players is a fucking nightmare, one round it's nice then it goes to lag hell or the match is laggy from the very beginning, my blacklist it 98% PS4, only 1 PC....Crossplay was a mistakes..
When it's PC to PC it's a smooth beautiful experience...

If you filter PS4 players than you will find players who alt-tab lower the FPS, If you filter PC players than you will have to deal with Wifi players.

It's a lose/lose situation.

Whelp, I'm going to take my lumps. I've gotten my assed kicked plenty of times and even knowing I'm no match against an opponent after a lost I still want the rematch to keep playing, but that Juri move was so blatant looking so it irked me as the exact timing of the lag was so suspect plus that definitely was no rookie Juri player, lol.

Does US ISPs not provide WiMAX, LTE, and other wireless home connections?! Because people using those are on wifi regardless if they're on PC or PS4. There's no reason to assume everyone on PC only use wired connection.

Lag is less common on PC unless they are either streaming or doing it deliberately. While the alt-tab and other outside interference will show the game stutter to create the one sided rollback.

What makes things worse is that player base only 7.8% reached Gold on PC so filtering out PS4 will make it hard to find matches.

PS4 to PS4 is also smooth, PS4 to PC is usually super laggy. Best to just filter out cross plat play.

Noob question:

What is the normal price for the CPT2016 pass? It's about €25 to buy right now, I thought it was supposed to be half price.

How do I actually compete in CPT matches (for the mission)? I have the 2018 pass.

"You like gettin' your hands dirty, don't you Mr. Mayor ? If you're thirsty for more, I'm happy to oblige..."

It's nothing crazy but I never play as Juri/rarely lose to her so the directness caught me off guard. I hope whoever writes for this game gets paid a lot; the characterizations are always on point.

That's quite a turn-around from her opinion of him in SF4, where I'm pretty sure she called him an "emo loser", hahaha.

Her win quote against Birdie is "I know better ways to use a chain. Want me to show you?"

Yeah, Juri's pretty clear about her interests.

Cody's win point to Necalli is on point , He's basically " what the fuck happened while I was locked up"

I'm also upset..Chun li act's like she doesn't really know cody. Back in the day if i'm not remembering incorrectly chun li was disappointed in cody for becoming a criminal because she looked up to him. I would figure that she would be hyped that he's out of jail and going somewhat legit. But ... she doesn't seem to know him now so... ok. She just knows he was in jail once....alright then

Justin Wong went 0 - 2 at CEO. Amazing.

Sakura is supposed to be at least a former big fan of R. Mika's, but their win quotes certainly don't explore that relationship, which is a shame.

Honestly Ed and Abigail have my favourite win quotes in the game.

Ed's give a lot of insight into his character and portray him as a snarky but well-meaning guy with a good head on his shoulders, while Abigail's are just him laughing at his own dumb jokes which is insanely endearing.

Am I missing something? He did not fly out as he was ill and had an early Friday pool that he would not be ready for
Oh, is that what happened? That makes way more sense. The brackets say that he lost to his opponents 0 - 2, instead of saying "DQ" as it does for other people. I didn't think that would be possible and I hadn't heard much of him at the event, so him being absent explains it.

What I like about Abigail's aren't so much the jokes (like the one he has against Kolin), but just the relentless insulting he dishes out. The one he has against Vega is great: "Hey. You lost all your equipment. Ya dumb bastard."

I think some people in Europe mentioned that there's no DLC sale on PSN there. €25 is the normal price for the CPT 2016 pass.

As for the 2018 missions, this month all you have to do is get 20 ranked match wins. There's no special "CPT match," just regular ranked matches.

Abby's win quote against Chun-Li is pretty great and without the jokes. He flat out admit he's become a legit business owner. Couple that with him caring and supporting the ex-Mad Gear Gang and it's my favorite character growth moment in the franchise.

My fave is when he asks Mika to tone it down a little.

The guy who screams out car sounds and spikes his foe like a human volleyball is telling someone to tone it down.

Perfection.

I also love his new winquote vs. Cody where he does the whole "I pay my taxes just like any other good citizen" spiel. If they ever do a second cinematic story, I really hope we get to see more jnteractions between those two former enemies.

I just got decimated by a Ken player titled Childmolester, no points "rookie", high number in the 850,000s.

WTF is wrong with people?

It's better just to play ranked all the time unless you're learning a new character. Points don't really matter and there are smurfs with 85+% win rates everywhere from rookie to silver and probably higher in casual unfortunately.

I remember a long time ago fighting someone named "Kuntrapist". People are terrible.

Only 1 mission this week? Weird.

The "everyones a big muscley freak" thing finally hit home as I was doing Eds story. One moment in cutscene-land cute boy, next moment in fight land muscle man with a bad face, bad hairstyle, an bad outfit. Yuck!

First try with random survival an I rolled Akuma on the first bout x.x; toughest match 1 ever! Shame the stages aren't also random!

I wanted to beat that Ken so bad for such an awful name, but I didn't stand a chance.

I guess I'm going to try rank much more, I thought just doing casual would be find as I find numbers and levels kind of stressful but after tonight, yeesh, casual was brutal, I only managed 1/5 matches when compared to rank it was like more 4/9.

The difference between the matches that were obviously beginner like me versus the then Smurfs, whew, I might as well put my controller down; crazy ass frame traps, tick throws, hit confirms, meatys and crush counter everywhere.

We're so close to finding out what G is like. Haven't been so interested to see how a character would play since Ed (which kinda fell through for me).

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I really do hope that G plays somewhat like a souped-up version of Q, complete with defense-enhancing V-Skill/Trigger.

For all his faults and Boxer-isms, I think that Q's super fun to play and no character since has really recaptured that unique combination of heavy blows and weird combo tools. Obviously Q's intentionally-awkward animation and unskilled fighting style wouldn't work at all with G's more dignified design, but here's hoping they can maintain the spirit of the character while giving him a shiny coat of gold paint on top.

I'd rather they just do something different. My favorite aspect of Q is his clumsy, reckless animations so getting rid of that and giving the new guy dash punched and a command grab wouldn't be doing Q justice.

Q felt like a sloppier Jason Voorhees so I can't see how G could replicate that.

Consider running 2 person lobbies instead of ranked. You have more control over who you play, since you can see your opponents rank, and the ability to play longer sets saves a lot of time that you would otherwise spend matchmaking.

Having the option to look who your going to fight before accepting is better than Blacklisting.

Blacklist needs to be thrown into the dumpster fire. It does nothing other than fill you blacklist to only empty it out again.

All it needs is a report system where it just shows the percentage of reports the player has received for Smurfing,RQ, Lagging Etc before accepting a online match.

Also about the whole netcode debacle, the bar connection states are accurate but doesn't update in real time. So a Wifi player who has less than 100ms for a brief moment can be matched with a player who only set the bar limit to 5.

It seems dropping the FPS and Alt Tabbing has been fixed and doesn't introduced one sided rollback. BUT micro-stutters can cause inputs to not register properly. So if the opponent is mashing buttons on the PS4's slow CPU it can cause your combos to drop.
