Pretty much everyone who played it at E3 are singing it's praises, but sure bad showing.

I think that's where it might come out on top, the Arkham games have great movement (even the Bat-Tank, was just overused), but a good Spidey movement system could just be incredible on it's own.

Those games won because they had a great showing and showed promise. E3 is a demonstration to sell products to us and those games got a ton positive feedback at the show. So I mean, they didn't live up to that post launch, but that's not the point of the award.
It's an award solely based solely on potential. So don't take bait like that. Confide in the fact that this adds to your excitement for the game if you're excited for it.

Won 37 out of 47 nominations... it had a poor showing. How many awards did crossplay get?
I will admit that at E3, Spiderman wasn't on my radar since I already had an idea of what the Spiderman game will be like from what came before. That said, kudos to Insomniac for getting a pretty neat sweep of awards and hope that Spiderman has a successful launch. I don't know what else is coming out at around that time, but if I have the time, I'll definitely check it out.

I think the MC score for this game can be potentially huge, when you see how Arkham City scored in 2011 (96), I think it won Goty that year.

I don't think they did that or would do that, they are holding a lot of things close to the chest if the developers are anything to go by. They want to surprise players and they're saying that they will do so, 2 story sequences and one open world demo in a massive game is nothing to worry about.
