You'd think a rich guy like that would just order everything online or just download those titles. Or maybe he is just giving it away.

Actually I'm surprised WB wouldn't just give him the entire Lego collection for free.

You know what we haven't had in a while?

Good ole fashion Reddit/4Chan Rumor Dump!

On The Flash Movie
James Norton is playing Eobard Thawne in WB's THE FLASH. The announcement will be made at SDCC later this month. Ezra Miller, Kiersey Clemons and directors John Daley and Jonathan Goldstein will also be attending to present concept art and confirm release on April 3rd, 2020.

WB is fast-tracking the project to leave Miller available for FANTASTIC BEASTS 3 and WILLY WONKA. Filming is scheduled for January 2019, And casting is underway. Lucy Boynton is close to signing for a main role, and Vera Farmiga, Jimmi Simpson and Stephen Lang have recently been approached for supporting roles. Expect more announcements soon.

Some from a dude calling himself Tidbitmanity on Reddit
Part 1:
1) Walter Hamada: Apparently, this dude is no joke. From day one, he's been going through the whole mess that has been the DCEU, seeing what went wrong, and who exactly had a hand in each mismanaged project, and their rolls in it. He wants to get this universe under control (obviously) but wants to go a step further. Smaller budgets, less hands in the kitchen, and less reliance on comic book guys in regards to the actual production of the movies. Geoff Jahns was demoted, but his change in title at Warner Bros was made to look more like a lateral move to save face. They all love him, they love his ideas, but they don't see him as a Kevin Feige or anything like that, he's an idea man, a damn good comic book guy, but he was involved in a lot of the friction that was going on, he's not a movie guy. So he's cleaning house, in a way, but not out and out firing everyone, that he recognizes a lot of the people at DC are talented and have a role to play, but they were just placed in the wrong roles. He has all the confidence from Warner Bros after he was one of the main reasons for getting James Wan the gig, and they LOVE his Aquaman movie (they originally wanted to go with a more action heavy director). Last thing on Hamada, even though I think I heard this elsewhere, but he reached out to Batfleck and Zack Snyder, and attempted to mend fences (both felt misled/backstabbed by the studio). Ben is closer to returning to Batman that he was a month ago (good or bad news, depending on your view), but Matt Reeves does not want him as his batman, this being emphasized by the person I spoke to, but that's all she knew on Ben. Zack Snyder was receptive of Hamada's attempt at fence mending, but they don't want him back to do any DCEU movies, BUT, that there was an opening to the possibility oh him being involved (not sure if directing or something else) with one of the elseworlds movies.

2) The Batman: All i was told here was that Matt Reeves doesn't want him, he loves Ben but his batman movie would not require an older, grizzled caped crusader, and worries about Affleck's ability to maintain his physical beastiness is an open concern to the rest of the DC people, so this whole situation sounds like a giant clusterfuck at the moment. Didn't get anything on whether Reeve's movie was to be set within the Joaquin Joker flick, or the DCEU, so that kinda sucked.

3) Wonder Woman 84: This is what got me most excited, even though I didn't get all the juicy details, but here goes...that is not Steve Trevor!!! He's not a relative, he's not reincarnated, he wasn't frozen, nothing. Obviously we are led to believe that Chris Pine is reprising the role, but that's all a smokescreen. My "source" (source sounds so fancy, I love it!) didn't give up who is is if not Steve Trevor, but she sure as hell seemed giddy about the reveal.

4) Joker Movies: This is the last of the info (for now), but basically the Scorsese Joke movie will be an R Rated Crime Drama, as we already knew, but that it will feature a few others of Batman's rogue gallery. I was only given one, Black Mask, which is supposed to be the most prominent of the rogues. Now, switching over to Leto's, this is all stemming from reports from other members of Warner Bros/DC brass who were on set for some of Leto's work on suicide squad. They LOVED his work there, and felt Suicide Squad did a major disservice to what he was able to do with the character, cherry picking scenes that were not fully realized excerpts of what was shot, with no context to much of his scenes, and a total redoing of his and Harley's relationship (originally much more abusive/unhealthy than the unexplained infatuation we got in the movie). Leto was hesitant about doing it, again, because he felt misled about his role in SS and that the reactions he got from critics/fans regarding his performance pissed him off, not because they didn't like him, but because they weren't able to judge the role as it was originally supposed to be (before reshoots and edits mandated by Warner Bros, after trying to lighten up what was once supposed to be a much more serious film). Nevertheless, Leto is on bored, and this too is shooting for an R rating (though not as hard the Scorsese version is supposed to be), and that it will have some crossover scenes with one of the Harley Quinn movies (same scenes, different perspectives, then diverging into their own stories).

Anyways, that is all I got. We didn't cover lots of different topics, there were some minor things we spoke of that I glossed over, but I do hope to have more very soon, I am not in the scoop game or in the industry, but a major fan of film and comic book movies, so we'll see how this goes.

Part 2:
  1. Snydercut: Maybe the most requested bit of info from my other post. My "source" (aka secret squirrel) said point blank (and please don't kill the messenger), it's NOT going to see the light of day, outside of it being leaked, period. Now, this pissed me off, though I am not a huuuuuuge fan of Snyder, I really like him (though he has by no means been without faults), and never like the idea of a director's vision being compromised to the extent which his reportedly was. But, as was pointed out, it simply does not make sense to release it. The way it was broken down to me was this was a no-win, lose-lose situation.
  • A) They release it, it sucks, now they have two sucky JL movies, plus, this whole fiasco gets drummed up again.
  • B) They release it, its amazing, WB gets lambasted for putting out an inferior product in theaters in the first place,Zack is now considered a martyr.
That's not even taking into account the fact that they would have to spend millions just to finish the damn thing, and all that together, WB/DC will not release the now infamous Snydercut, according to my secret squirrel, anyways.

By the way, this was decided after Hamada got there, and that if it ever had a chance of seeing the light of day, that it died with him. She emphasized again how much of a shit show DC was prior to his arrival, and part of the clean up meant starting over, in a way. So expect all these new DC flicks to hardly reference the previous movies (outside of WW and MoS). They aren't going to retcon everything, per se, but move forward with the mindset of "the less said about them, the better", because like it or not, most of the DCEU has a negative connotation to it, and they are actively trying to change the narrative.

2) Man of Steel 2: All i got here was that this movie was far from dead or dragging, but is apparently further along in the process, production wise, than we have been lead to believe, and that DC intends to begin to position the Trinity (Supes, WW, Bats) as the faces of the DCEU, and to "just keep an eye out at Comic Con, i think you'll be happy". Tease.

3) Wonder Woman 84: As I stated before, Chris Pine is in the Wonder Woman sequel but that is not Steve Trevor, and though the tease still won't tell me who it is, but I was allowed a guess, I said Martian Manhunter (as many of you were calling out in the last post), and I got a hard "NOPE!". Not gonna lie, this one bummed me out.

4) Elseworld's Universe: All i got about this was that there were, as of now, 3 movies (including Scorsese's Joker) currently in development under their yet to be officially revealed Elseworlds banner, but to expect to hear about this new universe at Comic Con. Again, not to detailed, I know.

5) Birds of Prey: The main leads (including Harley Quinn, obviously) have all been cast. No names, of course, but those are all done. Nightwing (yet to be cast as far as she knew), will be in the movie, in a sizable secondary role (not sure if this had been reported yet or not, if so, this is the first I have heard of it so thats why I threw that in there).

6) The Flash: Ezra Miller will be departed the role shortly after Comic Con!!! Just kidding. She told me this too before bursting out laughing after all the color in my face seemingly went away.

7) Shazam!: Henry Cavill and Dwayne Johnson will both be making appearances in the film. With references of Black Adam being mentioned a couple of times throughout the film, and finally appearing in a post-credits scene. Henry's Superman will be in about 10 minutes of the film, described as being similar to Tony's role in Spider-man, minus the father/son aspect.

"In conclusion, the snyder/directors cut/whatever was never finished. The studio dosen't want it, or to spend money on the project. This Fiona lady probably likes Zack Snyder a bit too much. Lames on Twitter keep asking for it, cause they lame. Who knows, Aquaman might be dope. BABA BOOEY BABA BOOEY HOWARD STERNS PENIS."

You can make that check out to cash, Fritz.

Also this, posted by Zack Snyder.

Seems Henry is Mary Poppins in the new gritty reboot.
