Ayy, Michael Cudlitz! Isn't he directing an episode this season?

Did Maggie leave out the part where his dumbass went back for a horse instead of running like he was told?

Grieving parents aren't always the most reasonable people, especially when there's already an uneasy feeling about helping a community like the Saviors.

So they let the kid run back alone to save the horse, and then proceed to easily kill the 10 walkers they were running from...... good writing to force the coup route.

They've gotten even more lazy with the writing

Brett Butler as Tammy Rose

Brett Butler? Really? So we're just gonna forget about this, huh?

As the third season concluded in the spring of 1996, Jon Paul Steuer left the series. Sources have speculated that Steuer's mother pulled him out of the show after an incident with Butler, who allegedly flashed her breasts at the 12-year-old actor.[6] At the start of Season 4, Sam Horrigan became the third actor to play Quentin Kelly, and with him in the role, the character's age advanced to 16.

Butler's backstage antics also resulted in some on-air fallout. Before the season began, Jon Paul Steuer, the then-12-year-old actor who had played Grace's son Quentin on the show, abruptly quit. People familiar with the situation say his parents felt Butler's behavior was detrimental to his well-being. According to printed reports (and confirmed by a number of people close to the show), Butler hiked up her skirt and flashed her bosom in front of Steuer. (His spokesperson declines to comment.)

Episode got boring as hell. Come on man, this is episode 1, let's keep it moving!
I like it. They have to set everything up for the rest of the season, and I think the episode does it well. Plus, the writing is actually good for the first time in a while.
