What's pathetic is your inability to understand that unless you want to make a thread for each and every single crime that happens in the Bronx, nothing about this particular instance stands out any more than the rest. And that's a harsh truth.
They are graphic, they are horrific, they need to stop. No one is going to fight you or argue with you on those points. But you, posting this thread for all of us to witness, are not actually accomplishing anything. And your extremely aggressive attitude to even people FROM THE PLACE YOU ARE RALLYING ABOUT isn't helping either. Do you think people in NY don't already see and read about this on a daily basis? The people who have to live with this reality? The people who are prime in place to be able to push for change? Do you honestly think they're all just complacent about how it's all going down?
You know what would've happened if the store owner stepped up to try and save the kid? We'd likely have a dead kid, a dead store owner, maybe a dead gang member or two. And if the store owner didn't die then, he would when the gangs retaliate, and you know full well they would. You wanted him to be a martyr for the cause, when that's a tall price to ask of anybody who hasn't signed up for that kind of life, and really easy to say when it's not you in the hotseat.
And drop it with the fucking "grow a pair". The toxic masculinity isn't helping you either.
