Glad to see Outlander up there. I want that show to do very well and continue forever.
CBS isn't available On Demand as far as I know. At least, it's not on AT&T and wasn't when I had Comcast.

This might be the worst PR line in the history of PR:
Hey remember how Facebook just this year admitted to their video views algorithm was misleading and also lol I accidentally leave videos on for more than a minute on a near daily basis.

In a competitive situation, Apple has given a straight-to-series order to the one-hour limited drama starring and executive produced by Garner and executive produced by Abrams via his Bad Robot Productions banner.
Based on the 2017 memoir of the same name by Amy Silverstein, the story showcases the power of friendship and the resilience of the human spirit as it follows an extraordinary group of women who supported Silverstein as she waited for a second life-saving heart transplant.
Note that streaming service shows are up while basic cable shows are down. There's been some consolidation as a few of the cable outlets bowed out of original programming this year.Surprised its not increasing explosively considering the number of new services and platforms we got this year.
Netflix Reveals 2018's Most-Binged Shows, Most-Re-Watched Original Movies
I just want to point out that this list correspond about 0% to the ""analysis"" that Parrot Analytics shit out every so often. pls stop linking to them, only you can prevent my fast approaching aneurysm.
Also, the fine print notes that this doesn't include non-English language or English dubbed shows.
Ah, interesting. I've only seen the slides and I'm working off of those. I think there's a full report floating around somewhere. But it does seem to include non-English shows made by English productions (at least in the case of HBO's My Brilliant Friend being included, according to a tweet by FX's John Solberg).

In March 2017, Eliza Dushku, an actress known for her work on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," signed on to play a major role in three episodes of the CBS prime-time drama "Bull," and there were plans to make her a full-time cast member.
Her time on the set began promisingly. The show's star, Michael Weatherly — a mainstay of CBS's prime-time lineup for 15 years — seemed friendly. And a producer and writer on "Bull," Glenn Gordon Caron, told Ms. Dushku she would be more than a love interest.
Then came a series of comments that made Ms. Dushku uncomfortable. In front of the cast and crew, Mr. Weatherly remarked on her appearance, and made a rape joke and a comment about a threesome. Shortly after Ms. Dushku confronted the star about his behavior, she was written off the show. She believed her time on "Bull" came to a sudden end as a result of retaliation.
After considering a lawsuit, Ms. Dushku entered into mediation with CBS. Mark Engstrom, the chief compliance officer at CBS, participated, along with Bettina B. Plevan, a partner at the law firm Proskauer Rose, who was serving as outside counsel for the company.
Mr. Engstrom handed over outtakes from "Bull" in the belief that they would help the network's cause, because they showed Ms. Dushku cursing on the set, investigators wrote in the draft of their report.
The strategy backfired. The outtakes were a "gold mine" for Ms. Dushku, the lawyers wrote, because they "actually captured some of the harassment on film."
Although the investigators praised Mr. Engstrom for his "tremendous institutional knowledge" and described him as a "smart and very capable lawyer," they said the company's failure to recognize the instances of harassment caught on tape was a symptom of larger problems at CBS
I have heard that after Homecoming (Julia Roberts show, not Spidey) and The Romanoffs failed to set the world of social media alight or prompt any fevered discussions around the watercooler (that's still a thing?), Amazon are now telling producers and anyone else coming in to pitch that they are no longer interested in "small shows".
Presumably this means Amazon are now only interested in 'big swings' as Bezos searches for the three or four GOT sized hits he thinks he needs to win the streaming wars.
Meh. Small shows will always find a way. Plus, seeing as how Amazon is one of the very few places that can actually afford all these mega budget sci-fi/fantasy series, I say bring it on.
Him quitting NCIS saved the franchise I guess. :pMichael Weatherly turned out to be a massive douche?
Clearly, no one is safe.
What if they all bomb?I'm happy with Amazon's transition to big genre shows. It's the right call. Everywhere else makes small shows, so being one of the few places that can afford a ton of big shows, investing in that makes a lot of sense to me.
Highly unlikely, especially LOTR on brand name alone. But even if they do, at least they will have taken big swings and given us some stuff that is of a level (hopefully) we have either never or rarely seen before in a series.
Good that this became public. She deserves better.
I hate clickbaity titles, I got excited about Alias coming back. :/
The strategy backfired, wow. Then again people have normalized harassment so have grown blind to it.
Yup.Amazon will launch a couple of big shows, fail to set the world alight and will give up in a couple of years.
Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang are coming to Apple. In a competitive situation, the streaming service has landed a deal with DHX Media to produce new Peanuts content.
Working closely with its subsidiary Peanuts Worldwide, DHX Media will develop and produce original programs, including new series, specials and shorts based on the beloved characters created by Charles M. Schultz.
One of the projects under the deal is original short-form STEM content that will be exclusive to Apple, featuring astronaut Snoopy. Peanuts Worldwide and NASA recently signed a Space Act Agreement, designed to inspire a passion for space exploration and STEM among the next generation of students.
Created by Lyonne, Amy Poehler and Leslye Headland, Russian Doll follows a young woman named Nadia (Lyonne) on her journey as the guest of honor at a seemingly inescapable party one night in New York City. Greta Lee, Yul Vazquez, Elizabeth Ashley, Rebecca Henderson and Charlie Barnett. Check out the pics below and premiere date announcement above..
Netflix handed an eight-episode straight-to-series order to the project in September 2017. It has an all-female writing and directing team, with Headlund and Lyonne penning the scripts and also directing along with Jamie Babbit. Guest stars include Chloë Sevigny, Dascha Polanco, Brendan Sexton III, Rebecca Henderson, Jeremy Lowell Bobb, Ritesh Rajan and Jocelyn Bioh.
Amazon won't give up. They're too big and investing too much money. They will make it work. They may scale back a bit and produce less after this deluge if a lot of it doesn't fly, but they won't give up.
Now this is awesome.
It's good, but the final two episodes didn't work as well as the preceding 8.Is homecoming any good? I hate Julia Roberts but hearing the story is suspenseful?
How are they gonna fuck Franklin in these new shorts?
I enjoyed it, and the length made for a quick binge. It definitely has Esmail's touch, but it never gets as abstract as Mr Robot. Is homecoming any good? I hate Julia Roberts but hearing the story is suspenseful?
