Pop sounds vaguely familiar. Like I have passed it on the way to another channel on a rare occasion of scrolling through. This is still on my list of shows to watch so its nice that it has been revived.

On a side note for the show I'm currently watching, I'm really enjoying Curb Your Enthusiasm

It used to be the TV Guide channel.

Eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, I was so happy reading the changed thread title. I'm not sure how I'll watch the future season(s) (will it still be on Netflix in Europe? lol), but it was such a delightful show that I'm happy we're getting more of it. A bit cookicutter at times but could get really fucking real when it needed to.

There was a similar type of show in the UK last year, similar in terms of "teams and travel", the show is doing its own thing,I forget the name of it and I haven't heard of it being available for US viewers.

Race across the world. That was only a few months ago that it aired, not last year, lol. But yes very popular, renewed for a 2nd season after 1 episode. I wonder if the show will stick to BBC2 or get bumped up to BBC1.

A Cavern Shaped Like Home
Despite loving Schitt's Creek, I didn't even think of PopTV being a viable home. Also didn't know CBS had a stake in it. Regardless, I'm glad the show will be able to continue. I imagine the budget decrease would just limit guest stars, since it's a multi-cam sitcom. Besides, they need to do more to integrate characters like Syd than get fucking Gloria Estefan for a one-off role. I was so peeved that Syd wasn't even in the season finale.

Baskets continues to be one of my favorite shows. It's funny, dark, tragic, all at the same time. Louie Anderson and Zach Galifianakis both just kill it.

I wish more people watched the show.

Just watched the Series finale of Life in pieces and I was so disappointed. I loved this show but hate the way they ended it. One if the worst sieres finale ever.

It wasn't written as a series finale. They didn't know it was ending. But at least there was some sort of "change" in the works, and there was a "wave goodbye" even though it wasn't intended for us.

Thursday night's ratings. The second half of the first Democratic debate did much better than the first half. As with yesterday, final ratings for the Democratic debate will be up later today:

And now it's later today. Here are the final ratings for last night's Democratic Debate (Night 2) 2020:

Deadline
With 18.1 million tuning in to see Sen. Kamala Harris school the former VP, the simulcast across NBC, MSNBC, and Telemundo is officially the most watched debate that the party of FDR, JFK, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton has ever had.

Topping the previous high of the CNN-hosted and Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders-led yakfest of October 2015 by 2.6 million, last night's debate also had 9 million viewers and 14 million video views across all platforms such as NBCNews.com, MSNBC.com, Telemundo.com, NBC News NOW on OTT devices, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

TV Line
NBC's coverage of Thursday's Democratic presidential debate delivered 8.8 million total viewers and a 1.9 demo rating, up 19 percent from the fast nationals for Night 1 and obviously dominating the night in both measures. With MSNBC and Telemundo coverage folded in, Night 2's audience grows to 18.1 million, besting the previous record set (in October 2015) for a Democratic presidential primary debate by 2.6 million. Plus, another nine million viewers watched via live streams.

Let's hope the momentum will keep going with future Democratic debates (although hopefully on one night instead of two).

In the series, after joining forces with a veteran bounty hunter (Kadeem Hardison), sixteen-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling (Phillips) and Blair (Fellini) dive into the world of bail skipping baddies while still navigating the high stakes of teenage love and sex. Sterling and Blair plan to excel in all aforementioned extracurriculars, despite the watchful eye of their buttoned-up community.

"Slutty Teenage Bounty Hunters" was created by Kathleen Jordan, who will also serve as co-executive producer. Robert Sudduth will serve as showrunner and executive producer.
the comment about the title from the creative team though:
And as for the title, 'Sex Positive Teenage Bounty Hunters' didn't have the same ring.

So I've checked the PoI thread in the other site... and many were people thirsty for the female cast. At least the memes are pretty funny.

Also, is it true people were calling getting kneecapped getting Reese'd?

Saw the Shaw episode a while back and laughed that she met up with basically everyone in her debut. The chemistry between her and Root were already there... albeit under threat of torture.

Season 3 was a bit of a step down from the quality of the first two seasons, but 4 has been great thus far. It's been hitting some pretty high emotional notes for so early in the season.

Based on Leftovers auteur Tom Perrotta's bestselling novel of the same name, Mrs. Fletcher is described as a dual coming-of-age comedy that explores the impact of internet porn and social media on the lives of divorcée Eve Fletcher (Hahn) and college-bound son Brendan (SEAL Team's Jackson White). The show will follow Eve as she attempts to "reinvent her life to find the happiness and sexual fulfillment that has eluded her in the past," according to the official logline. Casey Wilson (Happy Endings), Owen Teague (Bloodline) and Jen Richards (Nashville) co-star.

'Sandman' TV Series From Neil Gaiman, David Goyer — With Huge Price Tag — a Go With at Netflix
Neil Gaiman's beloved Vertigo comic Sandman is finally coming to the screen.

More than three years after New Line's failed attempt to turn the graphic novel into a feature film, Netflix has signed what sources describe as a massive financial deal with Warner Bros. Television to adapt the best-seller into a live-action TV series. Sources familiar with the deal note that it is the most expensive TV series that DC Entertainment has ever done.

Allan Heinberg (Wonder Woman, ABC's The Catch, Grey's Anatomy) is set to write and serve as showrunner on the straight-to-series drama. Gaiman, who created the ongoing monthly comic, will exec produce alongside David Goyer. Gaiman and Goyer were both attached to New Line's most recent attempts to adapt Sandman for the big screen.

Netflix and Warners declined comment as a formal deal has not yet closed. An episode count was not immediately available.
I've never gotten into Sandman, but I'm sure this will be huge news for some people.

This seems like another Marvel situation, where they pay an exorbitant amount of money for a show they don't own that's most likely just going to get cancelled after 3 seasons (I'm unfamiliar with the comic so maybe it only needs 3 seasons?).

Warner should have kept this for their own streaming service (and to be fair they'll get it eventually in like 8-10 years after Netflix's rights expire), but I guess they figured it was more important to get that $$$ upfront rather than focus on giving people a reason to actually subscribe to Warner+.

zero chance they can cover the entire run in 3 seasons, but then again, zero chance they can accurately translate the comic to the screen, its one of those... "unfilmable" joints.

I can't say I'm too interested in a Sandman show, even though I kind of liked the comic since I really can't think of many people I find more overrated than Neil Gaiman.

Netflix Orders 'Midnight Mass' Horror Series From Mike Flanagan & Trevor Macy
The Haunting of Hill House's Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy are expanding their portfolio at Netflix. The streaming platform has ordered a second series from the duo titled Midnight Mass. It stems from the multi-year TV deal Netflix signed with Flanagan, Macy and their Intrepid Pictures earlier this year.

The seven-episode Midnight Mass follows an isolated island community that experiences miraculous events — and frightening omens — after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest. Flanagan will direct and serve as an executive producer alongside Macy. The project has no relation to the Midnight, Mass Vertigo comics.

You think they want to fit that whole bill right after the JJ Abrams deal?
