Okay we've officially gone too fucking far off the deep end if people are being banned for a week for saying something like this when people have been saying far worse about other candidates (which may or may not be true) and haven't been banned for any length of time for it. There was an article less than a week ago in the NYT that stated he was meeting with the DNC heads in a closed door meeting about "what to do about Bernie" so this is a natural, if stretched but still natural, extension of that byline of thought.
Why is this poster banned for having a belief of something politically, that literally isn't some broad ranging conspiracy theory and even if it is, so what, it's not fucking hurting or insulting anybody to post it.
Moderation here has a clear partisan bias and it's evident and overt. And it deserves to be called for what it is.

How on earth is this "alright"? It's the exact argument Burntfoot and other conservatives trot out when they say the black people only vote for the Democratic party because of welfare benefits. The "lack of alternatives" is because the Dems supported the Civil Rights act, the GOP instituted the Southern strategy to pick up angry Dixiecrat voters, and politics have been polarizing on that axis for the last half-decade.

When you say it's because you sold out for too little money, it's quite a bit different than being frustrated that there's only one option in a 2-party system. Specifics do matter.
The context is important, and there's not enough to make assumptions like that. And I think bias creating misattributed context is the fault of the biased.
If the poster comes back and tells a way far out there conspiracy story, then you can maybe ban him for that, but even that wouldn't change the fact that this current ban is wrong, because it's going off the context that's there right now.
