I echo all of this. The Nindie content on the Switch eShop is why my eShop wallet has nearly $200 in it, tho it looks like Feb is going to put a big dent in my total.

Kinda feel bad for PSN, especially since the PS4 has such a huge influence on the console space becoming a balls-to-the-wall indie scene; but, on the other hand, the Switch is just the perfect way to play so many indie titles. In any event, I'm so glad that the small dev teams are seeing so much success.

Dandara and -hopefully- Hollow Knight will do it for me this month. Night in the Woods install size is disappointing, I will probably pick up thimbleweed park instead

Owlboy, I want to get day 1 as well but am gonna wait to hear about the physical release. Is switch even getting a physical release? Does anyone know?

I already bought so many of the big indies on Steam during the last two years that are now releasing/released on Switch. Furi, Enter the Gungeon, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Dead Cells, Oxenfree and Rocket League. Definitely reduces my potential playtime on Switch, as I don't want them on handheld bad enough to rebuy them. If I could do it again, I would probably get some of them for Switch instead.

I did buy Rocket League for Switch, though, since I love that game so much.

I was planning on getting NitW as well, and I still plan to sometime down the line, but between Celeste and MHW I don't have time for more games and NitW seems to be best enjoyed with time.

I recall disliking playing it at launch on PS4 due to some awkward control and 'feel' to the jumping and shooting. It really was kind of unpleasant, like there was this strange lag in timing or something. It was immediately noticeable and it dominated discussion for the game at the time.

That said, not sure if that has been improved as the design concept(or rather its intent) was pretty neat. Heavy focus on replayability to unlock new guns and gear to play harder stages and whatnot. Unsure if i'll double dip without considering impressions on this "updated" version, but I am intrigued as I wanted to like the game at the time.

Yes, Escapist 2 is a good game. A bit low frame rate while playing 2-player split screen though IMO.

yeah I recall something similar. I think I was expecting it to play more like metal slug but IIRC it did not.

As a slight correction, it's Mercenaries Saga Chronicles that's coming out on the 8th, not just MS2, which is bundled in it.

Based on the way the last update was worded I would be surprised if we see it this month. Very excited for it though.
