3 months until E3! Thread of hopes. dreams predictions

Now that we are in March that means... E3 is only 3 months away! With new hardware out and some killer software in the next couple of months, now is the time to start looking ahead at what comes next for the next year or so. We've gotten solid release dates for some big first party games recently and need some new information on upcoming games. Here are some predictions, will update as more thoughts come to mind:

Xenoblade Chronicles X2
By far my most wanted release.

Confirmation we can upgrade our Virtual Console titles to new versions on Switch.

Joy-Cons no longer come with standard black grips but grips that match the color.

Classic controller support so we can use those NES and SNES pads. Also Wii U Pro Controller support.

A new IP game Nintendo funds from a third-party like they like to do sometimes.

A Rabbid Party game.

I'd like some sort of hardware announcement from Sony, a PS4 portable. Very unlikely I know, but a man can dream. Microsoft announcing some exclusive first party games, although I wouldn't expect it in 2018 which sucks. Some 2018 switch games from Nintendo.

From your list these are what I want, although I want whatever Bloodborne 2/ Shadows die twice is to be something other then Victorian London / lovecraftian, had that aestethic but love Bloodborne a gameplay and theme.

Would love to see what battlefield looks like along with the next cod, plus a mass Effect trilogy port would be stellar.

seeing what rocksteady has been up too, plus Smash on switch will get me to make the switch purchase.

Also Halo MCC and Halo 6 to get Pc ports. A man can dream.

I don't think so.

It's highly likely we'll get gameplay reveals of From's next, Cyberpunk, The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding. That alone is huge.

Add games like Ghost of Tsushima, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Ori and the Will of the Wisps and the rumored DMC V and you could be looking at one of the all-time great E3s.

And then there is Halo 6, a new Rocksteady game, whatever Bethesda is developing and publishing, rumors of a new Perfect Dark, possible reveals of Respawn's Star Wars and Retro and more.

Bring it on.

Not saying these are unreasonable predictions (except maybe the super massive thing) but that's an extremely underwhelming list for me nonetheless, mostly sequels of franchises I dont care about, and probably a dozen or so remasters...



Only exceptions would be RE2 remake and mayyybe DMC5, but I don't see them catching the magic of the first two entries ever again. Maybe if they drop Dante and make Lucia the main protagonist... (yeah, I know won't happen lol)
