Finally opened the FF15 Royal Edition that I've had on my shelf since last Black Friday. I worked through the DLC Episodes over the last few days.
#8 Final Fantasy XV - Episode Gladiolus | 2/14/2020 - 1.5 hrs | 3.5/5
The story on this one was probably the worst of the three episodes, though I did like the boss fight with
.
#9 Final Fantasy XV - Episode Prompto | 2/15/2020 - 1.5 hrs | 4.5/5
Prompto's story was pretty cool. It offered a good backstory about what happened when he left the party midway through the game. It was interesting how they tried to make it into a 3rd person shooter.
#10 Final Fantasy XV - Episode Ignis| 2/16/2020 - 1.5 hrs | 5/5
The best of the DLC story episodes in the Royal Edition. Like Prompto, it gives meaningful backstory about what happened to Ignis in the later parts of the story. The boss fight was cool as well as the alternate "non-canon" ending that you can get if you make a different choice before the boss fight.
OVERALL THOUGHTS ON DLC
Why didn't they have these in the main game?! It would have made the game a hell of a lot better!
