As I'm sure everybody's aware, voice AI has gotten scarily good over the past couple years. I happened to come across some videos that people made with Eleven Labs AI and boy, they sure are something.

I have to admit, I was hollering after looking at these because I was so used to Breen's calm yet sinister demeanor in the game. But after the fun and laughter the methods through which dead voice actors are "resurrected" do seem a bit concerning, like this one with Soldier from TF2:

It's not 100% perfect but it's definitely getting there and a massive improvement from 15.ai. I feel like studios using voice AI from dead actors for games as opposed to recasts is only a matter of time.
