Hoping Hollywood gets Best Picture, optimally it would be Irishman but no chance unfortunately

Parasite isn't top 3 for me

One of the rare years where there are three potential BP winners on Oscar night. Yeah Hollywood has a very slim chance but it is still in the hunt.

Parasite will get Director and 1917 will win BP because that's just what the Academy does. Bong would trade his Oscar in a second for a BP win

Expect the Academy to pull a Green Book and have JoJo Rabbit win BP lol

Parasite let's gooo

Would also be fine with 1917 or Marriage Story winning BP and to a lesser extent The Irishman

Parasite and Joaquin winning are the only things I care about. If not Parasite, then Marriage Story... if not Joaquin, then Driver.

I'm expecting 1917 to win, but I really hope Parasite can pull off the upset. The only thing close to a 'Green Book' style win would be Joker.

All I care about is seeing if Parasite wins, that is all

I hope Joker wins nothing but it wouldn't surprise me if it took the most awards. The dark timeline usually prevails.

Parasite going to shock the world

Also I am sure Parasite has best screenplay, best international, and best editing on lock

I thought The Lighthouse got snubbed completely but at least it got a DP nom. I hope Parasite wins best picture but that would be a big surprise, watch it only get screenplay or something

Pulling for 1917; easily my favorite of the bunch.

Wouldn't hate it is Hollywood won. Really sad The Lighthouse didn't get in BP category.

So ready for this. Pulling an all-nighter and heading straight to work afterward.

Gonna finish Marriage Story tonight. But haven't seen 1917, Little Women or Jojo Rabbit yet.

looking forward to the Phoenix, Dern and Pitt acting wins

going to be really bummed if 1917 wins BP like I expect it to. Hopefully Parasite can pull off an upset

Lots of great movies in the BP category this year but I'm not really rooting for anything in particular. Parasite and Irishman probably have the best chance of winning, I'd imagine.

For best actor I'm rooting for Adam Driver or Joaquin Phoenix.

Joker cleaning house would be the best for memes, though. Film Twitter would be SO pissed, shit'd be hilarious.

I'm dreading the discourse and smug trolling there will be if Joker wins anything that isn't Soundtrack and Best Actor.

I can get behind this.

I need Joaquin Phoenix to win Lead Actor; and if not, then Adam Driver. And for Joker to win Original Score. And for The Lighthouse to win for Cinematography.

[edit] Looking at the noms, I have The Irishman and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood ranked higher than Parasite who's in third. So I wouldn't mind any of the three winning it, despite me not liking the third act of Parasite.

Joker winning BP is the signal for the alt-righters to finally do all of that stuff Twitter said they were gonna do 4 months ago.
