Owlboy is a steal at that price! It's even lower than the physical version! It's a great game that I suggest more people should play if they want a story-based side-scrolling 16-bit-ish platformer.

Ms. Splosion Man is really good too, from what I remember from the Xbox 360 version.

It was alright. I still need to finish it but I got relatively far.

Pretty pixel art. Wasn't all that engaged in its story and world tho. The dungeons were pretty neat however, good use of your abilities(swapping companions that you carry while flying that can do different stuff in combat or puzzles). Didn't find the between-dungeon stuff that great. General exploring and collectible hunt was eh.

A decent adventure but Switch has stronger 2D Metroid like games.

The game has some gorgeous pixel art and that's about where it stops for me. The story, combat, and exploration was pretty mediocre.

I've read that Cities Skylines won't see DLC that hit Xbox/PS come to Switch. What about Civ VI though? I've been on the fence to get the Switch version but ain't sure about expansion plans. Also have the PC version, but I'm traveling quite a bit this year.

You'll enjoy Ms. Splosion Man, but one word of advice: turn down the voice volume. There's a slider for it in the options menu. I loved the silly quipping in the first game, but in the sequel it is constant and very grating. It is the reason I dropped the game when I played it on the 360 at launch, and it is even more annoying now that the pop culture references are further dated. Aside from that, it's a great followup to the first game and a solid port.

The icon does not have the game's title on it if you care about that kind of thing. It bothers me, and I don't expect it to ever be updated.

Despite those two quibbles, I love having it on my Switch. Twisted Pixel was my favorite developer last gen, and it's really nice to see their logo when I start the game. You can also unlock a bunch of videos from the first game, including their amazing live-action credits sequence (as well as an awesome behind-the-scenes video of the filming).

Because I want more people to buy this, I'll end this post with a song from the first game will always bring a smile to my face. Twisted Pixel just makes the happiest fucking games ever.

RPGamer seems to have found it average but RPGFan really liked it :-/
