Wasnt down with the DLC even though i hear they patched it to be less ridiculous.

That's good to hear. I bought this a few months back and really enjoyed it. Well worth it for anyone into 3D platformers. I was surprised with how charming everything was, and how well designed most of the levels are.
I wonder if that count includes bundle sales. I imagine so, but still good numbers.

Well, it took only 3 replies.......Im not a big fan of the game. The world design is just too much of a mess imo but it controls and feels better than something like Yooka Laylee
No, but it's still a good game, aside from the DLC that could get a little annoying in it's design.

Good, it's a great game, I just hope that DLC will hit consoles at some point.
It's not a revolutionary game like Mario 64 was back in the day, but it's really well made. I just finished Super Mario 3D Land for the first time, and while I liked it a lot, I liked A Hat in Time better.

It's a nice game, I bought it on PC (Switch version was taking too long for me and my impatience. :) ), but I liked Super Lucky's Tale more, surprisingly. For me it was Yooka<Hat<Lucky.

I feel the same way, Lucky was a neat little but charming platformer.
To be fair Crash and Spyro already proved that in a much bigger way....but yeah.

Does every thread on ERA have to be about some guy saying something stupid? It's getting really hard to avoid these things. I was actually politically active for a left wing political party for a few years (in the US they would have called me a communist, seeing as the whole political landscape of the US is kind of right wing already compared to where I live) and even for me this is getting a bit too much.
The information is out there but he's a POS that hires artists, fires them with no warning and steals their work after the fact. Not to mention blackmailing people, doxxing them and creating entire sites defaming them. Then there's the whole JonTron fiasco. I'll leave it at that as I really don't want to derail this thread.

Yeah, I played it and couldn't stop. But a Hat in Time is great too, don't get me wrong, it's just less addictive for me personally. :)
they did, but since then, the number of successful 3D platformers have dropped off sharply. Spyro and Crash shown that legacy and quality can go a long way, but there's no other studio that has attempted to tap into the legacy (other than Sega, I guess) and indies will struggle to get that quality given the increased complexity of 3D platforming
Crash is back, Spyro is back, Mario back to the 64 style, Hat in Time selling over a million...

No, what I think is that not wanting to redo some trivial and hardly relevant voice over just in spite of a voice actor you used having anti-immigration ideas is a far cry from being "a white supremacist".

Congrats to Hat Girl and pals! The cruise DLC was pretty disappointing but the base game was rather enjoyable~
