Keep in mind the CBP actually employ 60,000 people. Only 19,5k are border agents. That 0.317% gets awfully smaller if you want to extend the bracket to upper management.

20k, 60k... the exact figures don't matter. It's an agency with cultural problems that manifests openly as seen when AOC went to the camp and when there's stories of them getting chummy with extreme militia groups on an operational level. Add on that America's MO with immigration and security enforcement is geared towards striking undocumented people with terror. Working in a place like that for 20 years involved with the deportation process... Yeah, I will judge
