That's Paul Rudd. He was originally considered for the role James Marsden is playing.
The Boom cartoon is pretty good. It'll just forever have the stench of the tie-in games being awful (Fire and Ice was ok from what I recall hearing), plus the odd designs.
Sonic movie, your "Sonic" looks like a dude and your movie is probably going to bomb.
