Same. Project 8 had a few issues, but the core was solid enough and I really loved all the new things it brought to the series. Probably the most insane ragdoll physics I've ever seen in a game lol
Hopefully it's a arcade like experience & not realistic.

I have a hankering to get some old titles right now, stuff I missed on PS3/Xbox 360. But I don't have a 360. Just an One S, so it plays a lot, but not everything, obviously.
I'm kinda curious when they're going to announce what the future holds for that, because it'll change what platforms I buy retro games for.
I never understood this. They are so different, you might as well say: after playing Mass Effect it was hard to go back to Halo.
This. both series are great but have two very different styles.
I'm hoping they give some recent punk bands that came up post-THPS some love instead of relying on old Warped Tour-era groups. Bad Cop Bad Cop, Masked Intruder, The Interrupters, Microwave, Sincere Engineer and many others would be great fits.
BCBC, MI, Interupters, PUP, Pkew Pkew Pkew, Days n Daze, Screamales, Coathangers, Tsunami Bomb, Direct hit, Young Rochelles, Bombpops, No Men... So many good band choices that would be absolutely FANTASTIC for a Tony Hawk game.
The Death Set is a promising choice for a Tony Hawk soundtrack, hopefully the game will be too.
We're lowkey in a great era of punk right now and I feel like the genre would be substantially bigger right now if the Tony Hawk games were still popular.

This is the era of bands that grew up with the Tony Hawk soundtracks driving their influences, and damn it's good.
yeah and bands like Menzingers, Iron Chic, Lemuria, Soccer Mommy, etc mixed with the wave of great hip hop like Kendrick would genuinely make it my fave out the bunch

3 plateaued, 4 was diminishing returns. THUG really started to go up its own arse with 'craaaazy' goofy humour
Are we sure this isn't Activision's Tony Hawk remakes that Lizzie Armanto inadvertently let slip during a Nine Club podcast and were later redacted? I'd imagine the music licensing agreements Activision had in those previous games have since lapsed and new tracks will be filling the missing spots.

i hope it's good but honestly the sting of a bad tony hawk game will be lessened by the fact that skater xl exists

Session and Skater XL are both miles better than Skate if you want a skating sim. If you want an "arcade-sim", yeah nothing has come close to Skate yet
I am VERY BAD at Skate. So uhhhh probably gonna steer clear of the sim games. But I will check some videos out and vicariously live through other's success. Thanks!
