According to The Information; MS, EA, Take 2 and Activision interested in buying WB Games

Nope. We know literally nothing about this deal outside AT&T is thinking of selling WB Games
That poster is basically saying that if Microsoft bought WB, then it would be fanboy wars between Spiderman on PS5 and Batman on Xbox.
There is no positive to Microsoft owning the licensing rights to all DC characters.
Weirdly enough, MS seems the least worst of the bunch. 5 years ago or so I would have lumped them in with the others though.
Is it clear exactly what buying WB Games entails? Would they also gain licence rights for stuff like Batman, HP, and MK? What about stuff currently in the pipeline, like Rocksteady's Suicide Squad game?
Not really loving any of this....but kinda hoping for MS on this one. At least I'd get to play on PC, ( I guess this applies to the others too - but perhaps MS would be less bad about MTX.)

no clue but i imagine MS would have to still work out licensing with WB. Otherwise I guess these studios will make new IP?
Those games are already on XGP, including Shadow of War and other WB heavy hitters. Albiet not day one, but still. MS and WB seem to have a nice relationship.
I don't agree at all. Locking the entire WB portfolio to Microsoft's ecosystem is a bad ending too.
It's unknown, although the original asking price we heard about would indicate that it includes some kind of licensing deal.
It isn't clear. I have a feeling those IPs will stay with Warner Brothers and they would license out to third parties, rather than having their own development studio. I could maybe see MK going, but none of the DC or HP stuff.
