I'm glad. I never made it to the discords.. so I never was able to get a code. I was mostly a lurker on gaf so I felt weird asking to join them. Happy to have an account here though.
So happy to be here. My FOMO was aching HARD. 10+ year vet here, not too big on discord so I never joined the community - felt like I really missed out there.

Same. Was gonna hold out and see how this place was doing after a few weeks but things on GAF are getting a bit...well, yeah. Decided to jump now.
I know, but there were also quite a few Discord users saying that couldn't make the cut, so I'm hoping most of the new users are legit and the trolls are a minority.
I missed out on the real discord and only made it into an alternative discord thinking it was the official one. I guess I got lucky catching that small window, I was worried I'd have to wait a few months or something. Glad I made it at least.

I signed up through a verified discord earlier today but used a free email as someone had mentioned ssl was not set up yet and I was a little security weary. Just gonna leave this post in case there are pending reviews on members accepted, I can happily switch to paid email account if need be.
Same here. I automatically assumed they required a paid email. I don't see the logic of opening it up without one or at least having a stricter way to verify people with free emails (something like social media linking).
If my account needs to be deleted so that some of these discord users can get in - please do so.

You gotta laugh, just think these people's lives are so uneventful that they have nothing better to do with their time apart from attempt to gain the attention from people they supposedly dislike.

I don't have a business or paid email currently, but I wanted to be a part of the site. I understand why due to potential threats and trolls that registration would be limited/restricted.

Phew, got in due to this. I was forced to change my email to my Gmail account though; my stupid isp accounts weren't receiving the confirmation mails. They have the same problem with mail from Steam. The messages aren't in the spam folder, they're just not there at all.

Was never able to get my account confirmed at GAF, so this is good for me since I wasn't in the Discords or anything. Glad to be here and to see so many people whose posts I had read while I was waiting on approval.
