They're usually about a foot tall and run a couple-hundred each. But they're really cool.

The Marvel Legends A-Force set showed up. Three of the figures I like a lot. One is ok. The rest...
One of Singularity's arms immediately snapped like dry tinder. This is my first experience with breakage on a figure outside of NECA since I started collecting again.
And She-Hulk... Jesus. The hip joints are those weird old ones that haven't been used in years except on Ares. I could get past that. But man, the upper torso and arms are ludicrously small compared to the rest of the figure, and the upper torso flops around like the head on a bobblehead doll. And the face is just fucked. It's like it was sculpted by an alien who had only seen a woman in a reflection in a lake. The figure reminds me of Robert Cop.

I picked up a Mafex ESB Boba Fett. Amazing figure. I didn't care how bright the color palette was on the Black Series version.
The detail is fantastic for a 6" figure and I love that they included multiple hands to swap for different posing.
It looks great with other Black Series figures.
These are the definitive Fett figures in my book. Seriously. I may grab the RoTJ version too, they used a different sculpt.

I'd bought all of the ML Cull Obsidian wave except Thor at pretty good discounts with the idea that if I paid scalper prices for Thor I'd still come out ahead.
But I just found Thor for <$20 at Fry's Electronics of all places. They hadn't gotten any new figures since the GotG2 Mantis wave.

just got my DX VF-31F in. pretty damn impressed with how stable things are in battroid mode despite the oragami like transformation.
You can thank the stiff as fuck hip joint mechanisms and the metal content in the feet / legs for that

honestly i am surprised in general at the amount of metal in this thing, even the sliding mechanism for the torso has a shit ton of die cast. the VF-31 may not be my favorite valkyrie, but damn if im not impressed with the toy, im almost as impressed with it as my current favorite the VF-19Advance.
Damn, I could buy 1 half of a hot toy with that sort of money
Well there's always the classic Armada scale Imperial Class Star Destroyer.
Smaller, but slightly more affordable.

World of Nintendo - The perfect series to collect if you're cheap but also willing to drive around a lot. Actually, it can be pretty expensive if you don't like the chase and you gotta love the chase because the quality of these toys is frankly what you'd expect for the retail price and target demographic (ahem...young children). Although sometimes you're like "Really? $5 for this?"
Total cost: $95 + tax. The absolute madman.
Good thing for me I love the chase. I got a Para-troopa 2.5" figure ftom Walmart today. Only one in two towns, just got lucky i guess.
I don't know why but the Koopa family are my favorite figures from World of Nintendo.
Can't believe it took this long for a 2.5" Koopa to come out. One of the most basic, iconic enemies in the franchise and it was beaten to shelves by the likes of Chain Chomp and Bullet Bill (man, do they love Bullet Bill).
In my opinion, the most glaring omission from World of Nintendo's 2.5 and 4 inch series is Birdo. Where is Birdo??
I'd also like to see them come out with 2.5 inch Lakitu, as well as any Cheap Cheap, 4 inch Para-Goomba, Spike, Boom Boom, Kamek and variants King Boo and... Snifit!!!
This 4 inch wave drops in January, i'm all about the Piranha Plant and Dry Bones and their articulating jaws.
New packaging and Mario-specific branding as of 2019

The World of Nintendo line completely lost my interest because it basically turned into just a Mario line.
For me the entire point was that it had a wide selection.

Yeah, it kind of sucks that they don't focus on the other franchises, but i would be the reason is that the Mario line sells the best.

Was at target but they hadn't pulled them out yet, they bring me one(Omega) and go to get the other they had(Drift),
A kid in the toy section sees it in my hand a freaks the hell out about it, mom comes and asks me where I had found it so I told her what to ask a worker for.
I drive to another Target because they had one everyone else was sold out of(Raptor) I get there and they are stocking the Llama pinata packs,
A little girl sees them and also freaks out, runs to show her mom and then begs to show her brothers.
A few minutes later she and her 2 brothers come running back and each buy one.

Clearly Fortnite addiction is worse than heroine. And gets people hooked at a younger age.
