Activision: More remasters from our library of IP coming this year

We expect to release World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and our latest Call of Duty game in the second half of 2018. In addition, we expect to deliver ongoing content for our various franchises, including expansion packs for Hearthstone and Destiny 2 , in-game events for Overwatch , and map packs for Call of Duty: WWII , as well as releases of remastered versions of titles from our library of IP. We also expect to release at least two new mobile titles during 2018, including a social casino game from King.

Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is kind of the last time they can go to that well with good results, right? No one's clamouring for Modern Warfare 3 remastered or anything like that.

That's assuming this is about CoD and not the Spyro rumor.

Modern warfare 2 will be the pack in with next years Infinity Ward game in 2019.

I expect a Spyro remaster now that sky landers is dead

That's most likely next year due to it being the 10 year anniversary.

I'm ready for Spyro this year, and CTR next year please.

Modern Warfare 2 is the best COD but I don't trust them to do it right. They tricked me with COD4 remastered and added loot crates a month or two after release. I haven't played it since they added them.

You have to pay for the DLC maps too if I remember correctly.

It would probably be too expensive to remaster any Tony Hawk game without severely cutting down the soundtrack. And what would be the point then?

After how Acti handled MW remastered... not sure I'm excited for MW2 remastered. But I'd probably cave since MW2 was probably the last time I was legitimately enthralled by a CoD Game.
