If there was anyone that at this point still doubted on Crash and Spyro's future being only remasters of the previous games, you can stop worrying now. Wouldn't surprise me if they were already working on something for either IPs. As for the other remasters, I really don't know what other IPs Activision (and I guess Blizzard) own that could be brought back in a similar fashion.

Legend was a lukewarm reboot a decade ago, why would they go that route after their recently released remasters were huge successes and super popular? They're gonna capitalize on that with ostensibly a Spyro 4.

I fully trust Vicarious Visions on doing new Crash platformers; they already proven they were up to the task way back in the GBA titles, tbh.

as far Activision's policies goes, that's another story, but I can't doubt on the talent of the developers and how passionated Crash fans they are (both VV and Beenox for sure)
