Dave says Full Gear did 90,000-100,000 PPV buys. Television didn't swell the numbers from Double or Nothing.

However, with Logan Paul vs KSI being huge and a big college game on, it's not a bad number apparently.

For context it's about 4x what TNA used to do regularly when on Spike.

When you think about how many people would want to watch Logan Paul get knocked the fuck out, any audience is good audience.

They also did a bad job of promoting the show. Most of the matches just weren't built up that well.

I think the PPV buys are similar to the TV ratings. They started so much higher than expectations that it wasn't likely they were going to immediately grow from there. The numbers they're pulling are still really high, all things considered.

Keep in mind, with Double or Nothing, or All Out, that was their only TV exposure at the time. Now they have a weekly TV show which has been of high quality, so for some people they're getting their fix for free without having to pay $50.

It's the same as everything else we've talked about with the TV ratings. Wrestling audience isn't very big anymore, they're charging $50 when their top competitor gives away monthly PPVs for $10/month, etc. Of course you want to see growth, but just maintaining something close to where they started is a win, whether it's TV ratings, PPV buys, or attendance, because they started so much higher than anyone expected they would.

I think the price point is going to make the ceiling on PPV buys low. People just don't want to pay that much for a wrasslin' PPV even if it's once a quarter.
