Al pastor is fine if you're a little baby and chorizo is too grown up for you.
Noice. Verdict? How were they today? And dang, $3+ is a little steep per taco! You made me walk to my hood taco truck and grab two suaderos.
Look at that diversity on the menu......best taco truck ever.
Absolutely agree. Too bad that I've only eaten them in Mexico and cannot find anything close in the USA. Fuck you Mid West America and your bad Mexican restaurants.
Someone please recommend me an amazing place to get these near Rochester MN, Twin Cities, La Crosse, WI or Iowa City.
Oh they are great, my regular spot for tacos, just didn't have tacos for a minute. Yeah, prices are a bit steep for a truck but their quality is good. I had much cheaper truck tacos, typically not as well made, also not as many options, you basically get pork, chicken, beef and only grilled, that's it.Noice. Verdict? How were they today? Typically I get two to three, it's still around 10 bucks for a lot of food, these are not the tiny sized tacos, they're a bit bigger.
free delivery tho, aint too bad a deal
That's what makes it so great though. You can offset that with strong fresh greens like thin radish, onions, and cilantro.Err....no, al pastor is too sweet to be the best. Beef Suadero or Cecina are great, barbacoa de chivo (steamed goat), as is Tinga de Pollo .
my local spot has really really thinly sliced radish, pop some on top a taco and its perfectionThat's what makes it so great though. You can offset that with strong fresh greens like thin radish, onions, and cilantro.
The only answer
Ok that sounds more reasonable for that price. $3 for small tacos is a rip off.Typically I get two to three, it's still around 10 bucks for a lot of food, these are not the tiny sized tacos, they're a bit bigger.
their burritos are ok
You either haven't had al pastor, or had some bad al pastor. I really don't think anyone that has had both from a quality joint would ever put asada over pastor.

Thread inspired me to make chorizo and short rib tacos. No radishes but I had fresh Pico de Gallo and sour cream so it was OK. Also some adobo sauce from leftover chipotle peppers.
Yeah, sour cream is good in burritos and whatnot, but tacos don't need sour cream!
Pineapple on tacos seems to be universally loved while it divides the pizza community.
