I just hope whatever it is, she can still do normal content. Lots of ppl seem to get jobs from one of the console makers, then disappear off the planet. If she's not in the new Fable...i will be disappointed.

Talk about a really bad fit. I cant imagine anyone from the GB crew going to bat for any company while blatant worker mistreatment and not so low key bigotry continues to mar their presence.....while sitting in the fucking chair wrapped in the logo of said company's next hottest game.

Still fucking sucks given she’s bisexual & we already have so few well-known LGBT people in the industry so I had hoped she’d be one of the few who speaks out against transphobia etc. :( Well, wish her all the luck no matter where she ends up at.
She will be an upgrade from Abby but I doubt she will go there.
I kinda don't get how her, Parris and others sit in the chairs and embrace Cyberpunk so wholly given both the transphobic social media & the worker treatment issues.

Alanah is literally in the game, she's voicing a character in the nomad origin that is made in her likeness. Not gonna argue for reasons she isn't making a stand against CDPR but she's hardly alone in this, so there's very little reason to single her out.
She’s leaving x cast so I think it’s a criticism gig - some journalism thing- or she’s finally working for ms
God dammit. I was hoping she wasn't going to leave X-Cast too. At this point I'm going to be surprised if she still does Play, Watch, Listen anymore. Gary is fine and Snowbike Mike is just...tolerable, but Alanah is what makes X-Cast for me. I don't know if I'll keep watching after this.
Also I find it interesting how divided her fan base is. She's been working at Rooster Teeth for a while now and people didn't know she worked there at all. Funhaus was my introduction to her and I found her other content from there.
Considering her large following and voice in the video game industry, she’s exactly the type of person that should be speaking out....
People are well within their rights to call her and others out for hand waving garbage ass behavior.
My issue is... unless I’m actively looking for her on those shows - I can never find her on them. Like they don’t show up and I get no suggestions she’s there. I never go on their websites idk if they even have a way to watch those shows on said web sites. It’s just not a good place for her career advancement. At Ign she was front facing. I could see how awesome she was. She was on popular podcasts. She’s on them now as a guest I guess. But idk just always struck me funny. I’m guessing RT paid better but meh.

It's weird when people go "ALANAH IS LEAVING FUNHAUS IS DEAD"... like y'all know she was barely working for them due to her fatigue issues. It's not like she was as prominent on camera as Jon or Jacob ever was
She was very vocal on IGN on their harassment issues. Kinda surprised to hear she hasn't mentioned anything about CDPR issues yet.. Can't be as shallow as not trying to jeopardize her NPC in the game, I don't believe. But if she joins CDPR and never brings up their anti trans posts or their crunch, then Ya, I'd think she sold out. But let's see what happens. Giant Beast Cast would be cool but I don't see her joining there.

That's a shame, she's the best thing on the show. The others are good too but I enjoy her takes. Hopefully they get another good co-host.
I know Parris has his own podcast but he jives so well with them!
Good, I liked her at IGN but I stopped watching Rooster Teeth stuff way before she joined because they kept getting sketchier and sketchier. I’m so sad I was so right. I guess I’ll check out her YouTube channel now that it’s not connected to RT.
