"First they came for the Socialists...who we hate, are destroying this country and are literally devils straight from hell....Then they came for the Jews...who are continuing to unleash their plans of replacing white people with illegal immigrants and must be stopped at all cost...."

Are these people legit brain-damaged?

So this fuck up from the defense is so serious it has blown up at least three cases Alex Jones has connections with? Perjury in the Sandy Hook case, the possibility of this being important evidence for January 6th, and the possibility this is used in a custody case?

Wow, and Alex just keeps on digging his own hole deeper and deeper and blaming everyone else around him.

Fucking clown.

Gotta say, this trial is far more impactful than I thought it would be.

Alex thought he could bring Big Trump Energy to the trial, but he didn't realize he wasn't the president of the united states with the backing of the entire GOP.

So I doubt there's anything really crazy in those texts regarding January 6th, but the idea that an asshole denying a shooting from ten years ago, delayed his case for so long it might end up having serious repercussions for a case against a presidential coup from 2 years ago.

I don't. He was there in January 6th. He had protection from the oath keepers. He's friends with the leader of the oath keepers and was in contact with basically every politician that helped state the election was stolen. Alex Jones has positioned himself as a very important figure in the Trump Party. Those texts being available is a bug fucking deal.

I know all that and really hope there's smoking gun after smoking gun. What I really mean was I'm just trying not to get my hopes up. Absolutely crazy if this is how it gets out and if this puts more January 6 people behind bars.

I have zero sympathy for Alex Jones and hope this gets him in jail, but I always thought fucked over by lawyer was partly a meme, it's wild seeing it play out like this. Is there zero protection against a lawyer basically destroying your own case like this?

"Screwed By All The Lawyers"

A Chuck Tingle novel about a voyeuristic trial porno turning me into a gay frog loving gorillas.

That doesn't explain doing nothing for 12 days after finding out.

"My Lawyer Can't Possibly Keep *It* Up For Twelve Days"

The fluffed up prequel to Chuck Tingle's smash hit "Screwed By All The Lawyers".

Wow, and Alex just keeps on digging his own hole deeper and deeper and blaming everyone else around him.

Fucking clown.

"Supermale Deepthroat Confessions - Digging My Own Hole Deeper And Deeper"

The sequel to Chuck Tingle's...it's too much, write your own smutt fiction jokes, everyone.

I would laugh so hard if this gets more insurrectionists and coup planners in trouble.

I feel like Jones' lawyer legitimately committed legal malpractice against his client here

Nevertheless lol

the multi-day length fake trial tim hedecker put on for his fake killing of 20 people with bad vapes sold from a fake festival promoted from his On Cinema movie review show

Excuse me NINETEEN people one of them died of a heroin overdose that's NOT on Tim

These people are so stupid, shitty and criminal that they always end up with the worst possible lawyers willing to defend them. Same thing happened to trump, at the end only Giuliani and Powell were still 100% behind him.
I hope Jones is felling even a fraction of the pain he has inflicted on this parents, hope to never see him again after this one.

The film about this is going to be wild.

Alex Jones played by Mark Addy
Mark Bankston played by Josh McDermitt
Judge Maya Guerra played by Jillian Harris
Alex Jone's Lawyers played by sacks of shit with features drawn on and a mop and bucket with googly eyes and a tape recorder with "Not guilty" playing over and over at random intervals.

Edit - Whoops, put an actor I did not realise passed away. RIP.

This is the most entertaining trial I have ever seen. Hope he gets taken for all that he is worth and more.

This is some galaxy giga brain 20D chess shit right here. I don't see any upside to talking shit about jury and judge like this.

Honestly it feels like, knowing he may have no legal remedy, Jones is trying to whip his audience into believing he's a victim, for whom they must either:
A) Donate as much money as they can, so he's set up for his release or that he can use to try and escape with
B) Protest his treatment by 'the system', possibly with dangerous amounts of force

Now, whether or not anyone actually cares about him that much is another matter

Or C) He knows due to his wealth he'll most likely get a slap on the wrist no matter how awful he acts.

I'll go with "D) All of the above", final answer.

The lawyers I know are always absolutely giddy whenever people on the opposite bench want to represent themselves (those are usually the kind of people incapable of shutting up). They can't help talking shit, as soon as they start going off on that judge, you know you're on your way to a win.

Fuck off
His legal team are so incompetent that he is completely fucked, even if he replaces them all, it won't help. Now those messages are out there already and that is a treasure trove of evidence against him.

How did Jones' attorney send them accidentally/unknowingly? The plaintiffs' attorney wouldn't be able to use the texts/image of the phone in the trial if they hadn't already been admitted to evidence and approved by the judge beforehand, which Jones would have known about, right (real life isn't Phoenix Wright lol)?

Edit: From the Phoenix Wright edit (lololol) it makes sense; it was an accident and could have been challenged to not be admitted as evidence but Jones' lawyer didn't do that. Lmao

He also very likely perjured himself infront of Congress and now they have the receipts.

Why do I feel like any and all judgments against him will quickly be reversed due to his lawyers' obvious incompetency?
