For those who've read the comics
How far into the story do you think this is going to go? It'd be weird to do Motorball without the Jashugan story, are they going to skip that and go for Zapan's rampage?
Fans or critics?

I think (and I have no basis for this at all aside from what we've seen in trailers)that we won't be getting Jasugan, and Motorball might be used as some way for Alita to make money for Yugo's trip, instead of Alita going ham on bounties
I think that's a good guess. And it still leaves the other narrative open.for the future.I think (and I have no basis for this at all aside from what we've seen in trailers)that we won't be getting Jasugan, and Motorball might be used as some way for Alita to make money for Yugo's trip, instead of Alita going ham on bounties
Looking better and better. Leave it to Cameron to take a realistic spin on the base elevator. Who else but him would even think about that?
Oh and another rave:
It's the ambitious use of tech in this production that first attracted me to this movie. I'm definitely going to watch this in the most advanced theater I can. There is no way it's not.
Can't remember the last time I saw a movie in 3D? This will be the first in years.
