Jim Cornette ruined AEW for me. I enjoy his rantings and ravings, but he raises a lot of good points about it.

-Tony Khan was in attendance for PWG's BOLA show yesterday
-Meltzer said he wouldn't be surprised to see Black Taurus pop up in AEW at some point
-AEW has interest in bringing in Aramis, a 19-year-old independent wrestler from Mexico who debuted in PWG this past weekend and reportedly looked great. He had a match with Fenix, and Fenix put him over huge afterwards in a promo
-Jake Atlas is garnering a lot of interest, presumably from both AEW and WWE. His childhood dream was to go to WWE, but he's currently weighing multiple offers

I used to enjoy Cornette's rants against WWE, TNA, WCW etc and I frankly do agree with him a lot about his preferred style of wrestling but I'm definitely done with him over the way he went about the AEW rants. The homophobic/transphobic stuff is egregious, and even taking that out of it, I think this is also a situation where "perfect is the enemy of good." If people are going to nitpick everything about AEW and just dismiss it because it isn't perfect, then the wrestling community gets what it deserves. This may be the only chance for mainstream wrestling in America to be saved. I don't love everything about AEW or the styles of some of their performers (eg the Young Bucks) but I appreciate their vision and how so far their product is overall matching it even if there have been some misfires so far (eg Librarians, Casino Battle Royales, some production miscues).

Agree with that. My only exposure to him was his match against Avalon. I think he's a fresh wrestling persona and is clearly really athletic but his strikes looked really bad. Hopefully somebody like Dustin Rhodes can take him under his wing and help him out with that kind of stuff. But see, there's a way to make constructive criticism about him without calling him a transvestite or whatever it was that Cornette did. Cornette completely lost me with that, and again I used to be a fan of his.
Yeah something seems to be going on between them. IIRC the previous show had a bunch AEW wrestler vs AEW wrestler matches and some debuts. Now they're promoting it and Aubrey was even brought in to ref. At the very least I assume they will be letting their wrestlers work there.

Same. I think it has to do with the month long gap in between ALL IN and their TV debut. They were also dropping megatons on us all summer long and I feel like that's died down as well.
