It took way too much time to find something diagramming the Wildcat formation / play the Dolphins used from 10 years ago, and someone also mentioned the Philly Special from the recent Super Bowl so I read about that.
Maybe someone here can help me understand since I'm still looking for a guide to play diagrams.
When a diagram has a squiggly line like that, does that mean motion that happens prior to the snap?

Thanks. I feel like I'm too dumb to read anymore since I do so incredibly slowly, but I did actually see a blog recently that recommended several books which helped them learn:
1. Take Your Eye off the Ball 2.0
2. The Essential Smart Football (which they say they couldn't have understood without the above book)
3. The Art of Smart Football (again they said they needed the first two for this)
4. Blood, Sweat & Chalk: The Ultimate Football Playbook: How the Great Coaches Built Today's Game
If I read any books, I'll probably see if a library has some of those.

I summon the mighty power of AAF rules knowledge people!
I was reading a summary about some of the anti-blitz rules the AAF uses compared to the NFL. They mentioned there is a limit of 5 players who can blitz, but any player who is lined up and/or on the line of scrimmage at the snap is counted as one of those 5 players automatically.
Does that mean the AAF is effectively limited to 5 defensive players on the line of scrimmage at maximum? Or they can have 7+ players on the line of scrimmage while defending, but no one can blitz other than 5 of those 7+ players on the line?
I'm also aware that some or all of these rules expire in the case of passing plays.

Does the Fleet/anime connection exist anywhere else outside of Era? Because it really needs to. The league at large needs to know about this.

All I want to know is the details of the weird blitz rule and whether 7 people are still legal on a defensive scrimmage line, and THIS is what I get for asking. I need to go post in that "how badly has anime damaged you" thread. D:
