I mean Obsidian really liked this game, right? Like this was one of their passion projects. Microsoft has made it pretty clear they want to let people work on what they want to so that may not be totally shocking seeing as Microsoft also recently made the deal with Sega to get PSO2 out here.

A potential remaster or sequel was one of the things I was hoping for once MS bought Obsidian. They're on good terms with Sega with the PSO2 deal so I imagine they'll be willing to give up the ip.

I own it, but could be tempted with a "remaster" if they redo some of the actual mechanics. Some of those mini-games are just awful. I forget which one in particular. The hacking or lock picking?

That's actually quite interesting I wonder if Obsidian will now be able to revisit that game. As story was good, but let down by meh controls. So a remaster (with good controls) or new game would be good.

I liked Alpha Protocol during the day. Can you imagine a sequel with the scale of something like Cyberpunk? I know Obsidian is not that huge but damn, that'd be so cool.

Seriously, I would be happy with Alpha Protocol getting any kind of second crack at the recognition it deserves. Such a great game.

This game is so good. It deserves a remaster. And a SEQUEL. Hopefully Obsidian will work some of the jank out of it and even more people will love it.

My dream is a game that has dialouge/choice consequences and RPG upgrade systems of Alpha Protocol but looks and plays more like Splinter Cell Blacklist.

it's a flawed but fun game tbh.

a sequel would do it wonders provided they take the gameplay criticisms especially to heart. more spy games where you're travelling the globe on missions are welcomed.
